My husband, our three-year old daughter, and I live in Vegas and headed up to Mount Charleston for some winter fun. I booked the Presidential Suite as it was the only room on the mountain I could find that has a door separating the living area from the bedroom. We wanted to be able to put the little one to bed while we stayed up to watch a movie.
This suite has a full kitchen with an oven, electric stove, small fridge, microwave, and a Keurig coffee maker. There, however, are no pots, pans, dishes, or anything at all really to cook with. You'll need to bring that yourself. I knew this in advance so it was fine with me. I called ahead of time to ask if they could provide a skillet and a mixing bowl for our pancake breakfast and they said yes. When I called from our room, they indeed provided these from the kitchen and they arrived in our room within five minutes of the call.
The TV in the room has cable so we had fun watching football and then the Golden Globes. There is also a DVD player in both the living area and the bedroom.
The entire suite appears to have been renovated recently with a nice bathroom and kitchen.
We had a great time and would go back. There was one snafu with the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night, but I'm sure it was a freak thing. No fire. Just an inconvenience. But these things happen.
