Made a side trip here from Vegas, and glad we did. The hotel was quite nice, the walk along the boardwalk- or ride by water taxi, on the river made going from casino to casino fun. Sitting outside in January to eat a bucket of crab at Joe's Crab Shack (literally in a bucket!) was awesome! We also took a drive to Oatman on route 66 to see the burros wandering the town, and had a great hamburger at the old hotel there with dollar bills covering the walls and live entertainment!

1st time here, and really comfortable beds and room spacious. this was the cheapest room rate during our 2 weeks touring vegas, flagstaff. tombstone, and by far the most comfortable. we loved the fake pianist in foyer and the waterfalls, and the very shiny and clean floor. If we are in Laughlin again this is where we will stay for sure. Casino slots very good. We didn't end up winning, but we didn't lose much either. We ate in Harlows, which was open a bit later than the others, in the Nuggett. Chicken Alredo very nice and very reasonable, and fish and chips, also plump fish and very nice.

We enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious, the beds were pretty comfortable, and everything was clean. The casino was fun and gave us enough back to keep us playing, and the Saltgrass Steakhouse was wonderful. The unfriendly lady at the front desk could be improved upon, I really wish the hotel was all non-smoking so we wouldn't have to stink of cigarette smoke for the duration and I wasn't wild about our view of the parking garage interior from our room, but otherwise it was thumbs up.

The Golden Nugget has a great tropical theme entrance and smells wonderful! Slots are friendly and a good assortment.

Property is located on the Colorado River with great view. Also, located at this property is Joe's Crab Shack, Harlow's and Saltgrass Steakhouse. We ate twice at the Saltgrass on our last visit. Filet steaks melt in your mouth.
