The service was great! Very friendly and simple clean accommodations. It is walking distance to the strip if you wanted to save on parking or gas. But if you do want to venture further down the strip then I would recommend taking your car to the casinos instead of walking.
It's a good area but one word of caution especially if you are traveling solo and a woman. It is a trucker stop and at night it can be a little sketchy. I will say nothing bad happened while staying here, but I was put in a couple of situations that were less than desirable and did not feel completely safe (during the day as well). No matter where you are, you have to have your wits about you regardless.
Overall, it's a good place to stay if you are not looking for a fancy hi rollers suit and want to use the rest of your cash towards shows or a little gambling. They are pet friendly which is a plus if traveling with pets because not many hotels accommodate pets. There's some extras like room taxes, casino taxes, and $15 a night pet deposit that is in addition to the hotel room but is cheaper still than other hotels on the strip. They do give you a free Denny's breakfast which is nice as well. If looking for a quick stay, comfortable, and affordable Days Inn Wild Wild West will do for the budget inclined.
