Arrived for a single night stay while transiting through from the Grand Canyon. Received keys to our room after a modest wait. Polite front desk person who had to work in an office which was probably well over 100. Room had 2 beds as per reservation. Our kids could not use the pool as it "required cleaning". As seemingly the tradition with Super 8 Nellis, we did not get breakfast. As part of our search, we specifically searched for places which had free breakfast and pool, so we were disappointed.

However, it was quiet and we did not experience any insect issues.

Overall, I would pass and stay at the local Holiday Inn Express for $20 more until
the management fixes things up.

Together with my brother I spent in this property one night this July. We were on the second floor, just next to the middle stairscase. The room itself didn't look exactly super clean, but we decided to stay there as we were tired from a long travel and didn't want to look for other alternatives.

Unfortunately a couple of days later, we both found out we were bitten on our legs and arms by something and this motel is the only possible thing we could both get bites like that (my brother left for Europe immediately after this stay, so we found out about the bites independently).

In any case, I don't recommend anyone to stay there, the money you can save by staying there not worth the risk of being bitten by bed bugs and possibly bringing them home with your luggage.

Even though the sign at the front desk says there is a complimentary breakfast, the clerk told us it is no longer provided. When I pointed to the sign, the clerk said that they could not remove the sign due to the other information on the sign. On the 2nd page of the 2009 Super 8 Directory it states "All Super 8 locations offer FREE SuperStart continental breakfast". The hotel's website also states there is SuperStart breakfast.

This super 8 hotel is sometimes over look because of the other special offers local hotels in the area but you would miss out on a very relaxing hotel stay if you choose not to stay there. This super hotel 8 is only minutes away from the expressway or about 30 min driving straight down Las Vega Blvd. The staff are very professional and helpful when you need assistance. Two stories who's desk clerk is on 24 hours a day. Rooms are very clean. Very safe across the base. donuts, coffee and juice. There is a restaurant (Bluehill restaurant) which is a part of the parking lot hours 5am-3pm. When there was a mistake on my bank card the desk clerk when over board to correct it. I would stay there any time I am in Las Vega NV
