My wife and I have stayed multiple times at the MGM Grand hotel on the Strip in Las Vegas. Great service and all the ammenities you could ask for. the location is great near the end of the strip so lots to do around the area. Aslo close to the airport. They now offer a checkin at the Airport terminal itself so you can get your room key before you even get to the hotel.
Be prepared to do a lot of walking, but it is Vegas. everything is a nice walk, but there are cabs everywhere if you need one.

No need to go anywhere else on the strip .All experiences were wonderful! Live music, the food, the pools and spa were great!

MGM Grand is a great place. They host many different attractions year around. Several great world class resturants. Lots of stuff for the kiddos, I lost money in the casino, but it was enertaining. We go to the PBR finals and NFR finals most every year and it is a great place to stay and very close to Thomas & Mack Arena where both events are held. They will shuttle you down there or to the Sky Harbor airport. There are "deals" so go on their website and look.

I stayed at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for a five day break with a friend. It's a massive hotel, making it entirely impersonal, and is very much geared up to the "Young and Hip...!" Good selection of restaurants; Wolfgang Puck, Michael Mina, Joel Robichon et al...all pricey. Has lower priced "Food court" too. Probably in need of a major renovation as much of it is now dated and not in line with most of the other 5* hotels in Vegas. OK for those not looking for something special
