“A quirky place, but overall pretty good”

We stayed here while attending a trade show in Las Vegas. The motel it's self is rather run down, but we were welcomed and made very comfortable here. Within a couple of minutes of reaching our room, we received a call from the front desk, wanting to know if everything was ok, and if there was anything additional they could get for us. It takes awhile to figure out where everything is, the way the buildings are laid out. A bit confusing at first. But then it just seemed to fit in with the Spanish architecture theme. I appreciated the free internet, and the complimentary breakfast was nice. I would stay here again.

“Our Dog Loved It but We Didn't”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

We always stay at La Quinta Inns when traveling between California and Colorado with our dog. We love their pet-friendly policy and the fact that we can get a quick and early breakfast and be on the road. Unfortunately, this La Quinta has been badly neglected. The bathtub was so worn, chipped and cracked that it seemed unsanitary to use. The toilet didn't flush and several lights didn't work. The staff repaired the problems promptly, but there was nothing they could do about the tub. I don't expect the Ritz when travelling with pets, but this was really sub-par.

If you must stay in Las Vegas, the La Quinta south of the airport is much nicer (but the runway noise is horrible). Better yet, stay at the VERY nice La Quinta in St. George UT>

“Staff Makes this Place!!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 December 2011

Hector and Jamie at the Front Desk made me feel welcome the moment I walked in and went over the top with any needs and requests I had. The rooms are OK. They have new flat screen TV's and faux hardwood floors. The furnishings could use an update but for the money is a great value.

Room Tip: 3rd floor was nice and quiet.

“Older La Quinta needs help and hope you like airplane noise”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 December 2011

This would have been a nice hotel in it's day but unfornuately age has caught up to it. Room smelled awfully (like mold), carpets were well used and damaged, tub looked like it should have been thrown out years ago. Price was ago but there are better La Quintas to stay at - oh, and don't forget the airport noise (planes woke us up very early and we were on the ground floor - pittied the folks who were are the top floors...)

“Adequate for an Overnight Stay....”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 November 2011

I selected this property because it was reasonably priced, was not on "The Strip" and had a decent continental breakfast listed. The price was ok. We had an additional guest in the room and found out that they do not charge extra for that .Big plus. As for being quieter because it was off The Strip....Don`t count on it. You can hear the comings and goings of EVERYONE going up and down the hall All Night Long......Walls are thin, gap under the room door,etc... The room was reasonably clean, but in need of some basic repairs.Bathtub had a large chip out of it that had been repaired (superglue and paint ), light fixtures by bed did not work, window could be opened, but only by force. As for the Continental breakfast......Plan on going elsewhere to eat.
I don`t expect a full hot breakfast ,but boiled eggs, bagels and coffee just don`t do it for me. The
paper that they give you upon check-in made me think that I wouldn`t have to stop for breakfast on the road. Trust me, you will. They do have a "make your own waffle " station but it is not adequate for the traffic that goes through that room. There is only one small room to accomidate all of the hotel guests.Needs improvement. The one redeeming feature is the front desk staff. They are efficient, knowledgeble and willing to help in any way that they can. I wouldn`t recommend this property to my friends, but I`m not going to say you should stay away from it either. It`s affordable, and adequate for a 1-2 night stay. Not a place that you`d want to spend a week in. There are better choices for that.

Room Tip: Request a room close to elevators,or you`ll be walking a Long,Long way. Don`t request a Smoking roo...
