My wife and I celebrated our silver wedding in Vegas and chose this hotel .It is absolutely amazing from the outside to the in. We had a fountain view, watching the fountains from our room and listening to the music on our t.v.Our room was beautiful with lovely furniture and a fantastic bed.The swimming pool area is also great. If you get a bit fed up with casino,s have a walk around this hotel. One of the best and most famous hotels in the world.

Room Tip: A fountain is great.

I have been to the bellagio many times and each time seems to get better. This trip my wife and I stayed in a Salon Suite for the first time and it was amazing. The Room was very spacious and had three windows through out the suite. The bathroom was huge and even had a telivision in it. Housekeeping was in twice a day and kept the room in tip top shape.
I did not have any luck in the casino this year, but I still would not want to gamble any where else. From the pit bosses to the dealers every one is pleasant and fun to be around.
we ate at olives, prime steakhouse and micheal mina, all were outstanding ,make a reservation in advance of your trip if you want to eat at these restraunts because they will be packed. The bellagio is the best and I would never stay anywhere else

Room Tip: Salon Suites are on the corners and have multipue windows for the best view

“Nice Hotel and Casino but slow to answer service request”

Every January my husband and I start off our New Year in Vegas. The last two years we have stayed at the Bellagio and have had a great stay each time. This time, however, was different. We were timing our schedule and knew we needed at least an hour to get ready and get to the Venitian to see the Blue Man Group that evening. When we get to our room, we see we have exactly an hour to get ready and there is no iron or ironing board in the closet. I can not let my husband go to the show with a wrinkled shirt. We called the front desk for a replacement and they say 10 minutes one will be up. 15 minutes pass and we call again and they then stated it would be another 10 minutes before we could get someone to our room with the iron. I'm thinking if this is a basic amenity, then why was it not in the room to begin with, nonetheless, I was upset and we were running late at this point. Within 5 minutes someone shows up and is expecting a tip! I shoo him out and proceed to get ready. Now that 20 minutes was taken out of our prep time, we arrive at the restaurant and our reservations were released. So no dinner before the show. We had to settle for dinner AFTER the show. Not too happy with that. The Bellagio is beautiful and a great casino to gamble in but when I need service, I expect for the staff to work for me and make my stay as worry free as they can make it. It's the little things that matter. I'm going to try ARIA next door to the Bellagio next January. I've heard nothing but good things about their hotel, bars and casino.

“Luxurious Madness!!”

The hotel is Las Vegas personified, money no object opulence and buzzing all day and night. Our room was one of the bellagio Suites and it was huge, 2 bathrooms, 3 loo's, huge sitting/dining room and separate bedroom, full of the latest gadgets too, it was only marginally more expensive than a standard room so well worth it if you can.
The only down side about a hotel this big is the "impersonalness" of everything, you are just another paying guest moving through and if you dont get a fast pass for the restaurants you could be waiting in a queue to eat for half an hour, any time of the day!

“Amazing trip, smart hotel”

The Bellagio is a great hotel. The public areas are very grand and the Casino areas are bright and well maintained. They were also far less smoky than most other casino areas and were definitely quite upmarket, compared to other hotel casinos which were mostly pretty seedy. Our room was a good size, bright and well maintained. We didn't have a view over the fountains but we didn't expect that and our pool view was more than OK. The location is great, right at the heart of the city centre, you couldn't ask for much better. The buffet restaurant was great for breakfast and we also really liked the Palio coffee shop, great for pastries in the morning. Downsides? Well, on our first night we got a 4.30am alarm call by mistake, which was meant for another room, not good after a long flight. To their credit, however, the hotel apologised unreservedly and gave us a good credit on our bill, which paid for a couple of meals. The drinks in Vegas are pretty expensive everywhere but the Bellagio was at the top end of the range, $13 for a vodka and lemonade. The solution, of course, is to gamble and get free drinks, which we did, which is a bonus when you're winning of course! Recommended trip highlights included "Love" by Cirque du Soleil at the Mirage, well worth seeing; Elton John at Caesars Palace, a great concert; and a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon, we'd recommend Papillon helicopters, they were great. Overall it was an amazing trip and we'd love to go back one day.
