“Terrible”

We stayed there in late July 2011. We stayed in a large loft suite near the front of the complex. We were booked to stay three nights but we left the first evening we were there. The grounds are nice but we found it odd that there were stay cats wandering around. We visited one of the pools but found it small and overcrowded. The hot tub was almost empty and did not appear to be very clean. The "excercise room" was a joke and was actually a little creepy given its isolation from the rest of the complex -- I would not work out there alone. The lobby has a small noisy bar and there was loud rap music blasting and scary looking people hanging around after it got dark. After returning to our room after dinner we noticed dozens of tiny bugs crawling around a glass of water left in the bedroom on the nightstand. Upon further inspection the same bugs were found crawling around in the kitchen near any source of moisture. By 11 pm we decided that we could not sleep there for the night and booked another room at a place just off the Strip. I crushed a few bugs with a piece of paper and brought it with me to the front desk, explaining to them that we were leaving and that I wanted to cancel my 3-day reservation and be refunded all my money due to the presence of bugs in the bedroom and kitchen. They argued with me for about 10 minutes and claimed that they could not refund the 1-night charge because we had checked in at 3 pm and it was now 11 pm. The manager took a quick look at the squashed bugs and then took the paper from me, and, without asking, walked outside and threw it into a deep trash can out front (presumably so I could not retrieve it). They offered to put us into a different room but I told them that we were already packed and ready to leave and we just wanted to get our money back and go. More resistence. Even an insinuation that we were ripping them off by staying for 8 hours without paying. Finally, I said something like "Look, I am leaving in the middle of the night with two small children, obviously we are not a very happy with our experience here. Let's just call this even so we can go." They then reversed the first nights charge on my credit card and we left. Obviously, we will never stay there again.

“The worst hotel experience I've had.”

Terrible place to stay, people are friendly but provide terrible service, worst hotel experience ever. OLD TVs that barely work, dirty bathroom floor, room service ordered at 6:40 am with a 30 minute ETA arrived 65 minutes later as we were leaving for the day, my daughter went to her all day dance convention with only a few pretzels for breakfast, totally unacceptable service! What kind of hotel doesn't even have do not disturb signs and actually charges guests for wifi??? Don't stay here!!!

“Nice Conference Hotel in Las Vegas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 February 2012

I attended a large conference (1000) here. My roommate and I had a nice suite with two doublee beds. Very nice. The sitting area is separate from the bedroom and has a bar with a refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast buffet was excellent at 9.99 plus tax. The room rate was a steaal at $79 plus tax. The conference facilities were excellent. The only drawback is the hotel is abou a mile frorm the strip. There is no casino which was fine for me. I would stay here again.

“Best Non-Casino Hotel in Vegas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

Alexis Park is a wonderful place to stay in Las Vegas. It is located just off the strip yet with in walking distance to several strip casinos. It has vast roomswith all the desired amenities such as kitchen facilities and spa tubs. There is ample parking for those of us who drive to Las Vegas or have rental cars while there. When the whole family traveled the large suite with 3 bedrooms was perfect for us! My recent stay required one of the small suites which was wonderful as well.
Our family has stayed at Alexis Park several times and look foward to returning soon!

“A really great experience . The perfect venue for my conference.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

I worked with the managers at Alexis Park for the last year planning a confernce that took place jan 26-29 th. We had about 1800 attendees and pretty much sold out their room block.

The staff was super accommodating to our clients. They were friendly and flexible. Having our confernce at a non gaming resort made the flow and focus of our conference so much better. I also found that working with a smaller faciltiy I was better able to navigate any hiccups with our program. Like I said the staff and management were very flexible.

The rooms were clean. They had a great area for us to host a dj friday and Saturday night. The bar and restaurant worked perfect in between program events. It was nice to be off the strip but also close enough if anyone wanted to wander for a bit.

Overall from an events perspective I would defiantly recommend hosting a conference there. Super easy to work with and the venue created an intimate experience. Our attendees were able to engage in our confernce and not be distracted but also enjoy the location if they wanted to check out the strip.

On a personal level I would for sure return on my own. The rooms were affordable and nice!

Great job Alexis Park!!
