“Terrible Service”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

Cons: Most of the hotel staff I encountered over my 4 night stay was rude. The casino staff was very friendly, but the hotel staff was terrible. The first night I was put in a smoking room after confirming non-smoking. The woman at the front desk hung up on me and then I was given the run around by 4 different people the next day until one woman, Cecile, at the front desk finally moved me to a non-smoking room facing the strip. Cecile was the only friendly front desk staff I met the entire time. The rooms were a little dirty with mold in the shower and hair in the sink/shower in my original smoking room. Also the entire place reeks of smoke. And while I understand that there's a lot of smoke everywhere in Vegas this hotel was by far the worst of all the hotels we visited. There is no air flow in the casino or hotel levels.

Pros: The location is very central on the strip with easy access to the city center and Bellagio. The restaurants are great too - Koi and the Strip Steakhouse. The Sugar Factory next store is good too.

Overall not worth it to inhale mass amounts of smoke, stay in a dirty room, and be treated rudely.

“Avoid. There are MUCH better places to stay in Vegas”

Stayed here for a conference, so had no choice of accommodation. This place is well passed its best and the rooms – although huge – show it. Very tacky, well used and not the cleanest place in the world. Only reason we probably stayed here was because its cheap. Remember, you pays your money, you takes your choice. Avoid.

“Great stay!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

This was the first time I was staying at this hotel and I was a little skeptical from reading the reviews. I am a fairly picky traveler when it comes to hotels. In reading past reviews, I was nervous for dark, smokey rooms and no housekeeping. I was very pleasantly surprised! I tried the $20 trick (first time at that too!) and it worked! We booked a Hollywood Hip Room (with no strip view) and the $20 trick got us a resort room on the 37th floor right in front of the Bellagio Fountains! Awesome upgrade!! The only thing that I found to be true from past reviews is that the rooms are dark. Only a few lamps, but a small inconvienence compared to everything. The hotel is in an awesome central strip location, has lots of food choices with the attached Miracle Mile Mall. Go to Earl of Sandwich!

The casino was packed on Friday night and a super fun place to be! Lots of people, fun music and action! Drink service at the machines was quick and friendly : )

For an ideal people watching spot (with delicious food) ask for a spot on Cabo Wabo's deck overlooking the strip! Pure entertainment!

Great experience and I will for sure book this hotel the next time I go.

Room Tip: Try the $20 trick!!

“December 2011 trip”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

Had fun there, check in was quick, nice rooms, bathtube was great. Liked the pieces of movie memorabilia in every room we had a few things from Independence Day. Down sides, can be a far walk to the ABC store and restaurants in the mall. Got locked out of our room, took security about 15 minutes for security to get there to let us in. Then they had to let us in for half of the next day because they didnt get the problem fixed. Had a great room view, could watch the Bellagio fountain show from our room

Room Tip: Dont get a room even close to a elevator, they are VERY loud and you will hear it all night. Get as...
