“Beautful modern suites”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

If staying off strip isn't an issue, I can enthusiastically recommend the Palms Place. I expected nice accommodations, but I didn't expect the beautiful room with the perfect strip view that we received.

The suite had a nicely stocked mini kitchen with a small refrigerator under the mini stocked bar. Should you prefer to make meals in your room, you have all the necessary tools, including a two burner stovetop. The king bed was comfortable, and both the sitting area and the bedroom area each had its own flat screen.

The bathroom was spacious and the shower had a rain shower head in addition to the handheld spout. A large jetted tub, plenty large enough for two was located inside the shower.

The modern décor extends to the hallway, including the walls and carpeting. I also want to comment on the soundproofing of the rooms. One of my biggest pet peeves when traveling is paper thin walls. That wasn't the case here. I called my friends who were staying in the room next door, and I didn't even hear the phone ringing. Pretty impressive!

The only negative was the distance from the Palms. It was cool when we were going to Simon for dinner, but was a pain in the a$$ when we left to go to the Playboy Club - and it's a looooong stumble back at 3 a.m.

Also, room service is pricey. Run through the sky-tube to the food court instead. And they have Coffee Bean too!

“Very good, not Great”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

Stayed at Palms Place over Super Bowl weekend in a Studio Suite. Loved the modern design, and as stated in other reviews, it felt a world away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. There were a few issues - First, I moved the footstool/hassock part of the sofa and quickly discovered that housekeeping never moves furniture around when vacuuming... lots of dust and nasty bits on the floor, (french fries, paper, etc) we also had to call maintenance to replace a couple of lightbulbs and unclog the kitchen sink. Those items aside, it was a enjoyable stay. I loved the shower, but would of liked a but more water pressure. The walk to the casino wasn't too bad. In a city with hotels this large, you'll find that most have a long walk from the rooms, depending on where you are staying. The staff of both the hotel and casino were very pleasant, and I would (and most likely will) return again

While throoms here are very modern and attractive; there are serious difficulties in staying here. It is probably a mile and a half from the strip. This makes it a cab ride to see the real Vegas. Cabs in Vegas are very expensive. To get from Palms Place to the Palms Casino is also a hassel as it takes around 7 minutes to go thru their walkway. While the staff was friendly; they were not very competant. They didn't give me anything that was promised in my package. I had to make an extra 3 trips back and forth from the casino to get everything settled; as the casino cannot help you with any problems from the hotel. The Palms Casino looks quite old. It doesn't have the glitz of most of the Strip hotels.

Dear Charlotte Guest,

Thank you for your honest feedback regarding your recent visit to Palms Place. We appreciate the compliment of our room design and décor. We consider our location an asset to our guests, as our property is just far enough to avoid the commotion of Las Vegas Boulevard but also close enough to be readily accessible. Also, we do offer a shuttle service to Las Vegas Boulevard as well. However, we do welcome all guest commentary, and we appreciate your time in providing this invaluable feedback. Thank you again, and hopefully we will have another opportunity to serve you in the future.

Best Regards,

“Beautiful place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

Beautiful place! I loved it. Only problem was the fees that they don't tell you about. Another thing is that the 1 bedroom suite was very dusty, and the balcony didn't open. Other than that the view from the room was beyond beautiful and the hotel was very stylish and cozy at the same time.

Dear Hollywood Guest,

Thank you for your honest recount of your experience at Palms Place. We are pleased that you enjoyed your one bedroom suite, and we agree that the modern décor brings a certain level of comfort to tower. We have taken note of your concerns with the balconies, and we are actively seeking ways to provide our Palms Place patrons with balcony access without putting the areas below the balconies at risk. Thank you again for your commentary, and we look forward to hopefully welcoming you back to the property in the future!

Had to stay a few days here for the Ces it was our last option. The location is very far away from the strip and you must taxi everywhere. The service wasn't very good we had a broken tv that they never fully fixed as promised and check in staff was slow. The hotel it self is great for people wanting to experience a lot of different clubs in one location. They even have a movie theatre. Definately will book earlier and stay at the Wynn.

Dear Hotelier,

Thank you for staying at Palms Place during your recent visit to Las Vegas. We are sorry that you thought your stay to be anything less than desirable. Guest service is our chief goal, and it is regrettable that this was seemingly not reflected in your interaction with our team members. We agree that our property tends to draw a youthful crowd, but we truly believe we can accommodate every type of guest from families to business professionals. Thank you again for your commentary, and we hope to visit with you again in the future.
