If it was not for the timeshare people spending SO much money every year, there is NO WAY a non timeshare person, such as myself, would EVER be able to get such a great deal on such a fun place-for so little money! THANK YOU timeshare owners!
We needed a quick "getaway" with our twin, 4 year old boys. Could not ask for more than this place. Clean and safe. VERY clean. These people were cleaning non stop!
Room was amazing. HUGE! Oh, and clean! They let us check in a NOON!
The rooms pretty much have everything you need. Kitchen was fully stocked. Did I mention clean? The next time we go back, and we will, I will get a larger room so we can have a balcony. We did not have a balcony and I think that was what stopped me from giving this place a 6th star. Or maybe it was the fact that TripAdvisor only allows for 5, either way, I want a balcony next time! **Would also be nice to have housekeeping come every day. But they were always in the hallway, so it was easy to get clean towels etc. Super friendly housekeeping staff!
Like everyone else, I read many reviews on this property and like everyone else, I was not looking forward to the strip searches by the "bouncers" at the pool/lazy river. Well, guess what? We were here 3.5 days and not ONCE were our bags searched. We stayed Monday-Wednesday nights. Maybe they are more relaxed those days? The place did NOT seem busy at all, just how I like it. I can imagine the weekends get PACKED and that would be a nightmare for me. The security team was very friendly. The lifeguards need to lighten up a bit. They all seem pretty uptight. Maybe they should smile once in a while.
Lazy river is AWESOME. I can just float in there for days... The resort is pretty relaxed on the lazy river rules and that makes it very enjoyable, but I can see how it could be a problem if the resort had a lot more people. We were lucky to be there at a time where it seemed pretty empty. There were ALWAYS empty lounge chairs, tubes and towels.
People do realize that cigarette smoking is bad, yes? Well, many people still smoke and I HATE it around my kids. STOP SMOKING in front of children people. Hide your embarrassing habit when kids are around. Do them the favor someone probably did not do for you...
There seemed to be a lot of construction going on around the property. Sort of took away some of the "tropical" feel. But not much of an issue.
Servers at the pools are practically naked! Not a problem for me, but very noticeable. Normally if a server is wearing a bikini, they normally wear some sort of cover up. Note to manager: No need to change this, uh, just want others to be prepared....
Expected a larger main pool. Loved the sandy side. Lots of fun sand toys for the little ones. Maybe they should add a swim up bar to make this place complete for the adults.
Tahiti Village really is a great deal. I spent DOUBLE the money last month at a resort in Palm Springs that has a "pretty boring" lazy river. This river has all sorts of fun water features...
The resort also offers some "activities". Most the activities seemed to be geared at kids. There was a VERY lame attempt at limbo and water aerobics, but at least they tried. I mean, water aerobics and limbo, with no music? HA!
They also do arts and crafts for the kids each day. Our kids made bracelets. They also had a root beer float "activity". ALL INCLUDED for the minimal $10 resort fee. Not bad at all. You get a lot of bang for your buck here.
There was a huge bottle of vodka in our room! Oh wait, we brought that...
When we were leaving, a man (I think he was a gardener) went WAY out of his way to hold a door for me as I struggled with my bags! I do not even get that at Encore!
Wanted to try Tahiti Joe's, but after reading all the horrible reviews, I just couldn't. I hope they update that place so I can spend some money there next time.
Not sure what else to say other than this was a really great getaway. We did not want to leave. We are going to come back with some friends.
Great work Tahiti Village! Oh, and not ONCE did they bother us about joining a time share. They have the occasional sign here and there, and people walking through on a "tour", but nobody bothered us about it.
Get a room with a balcony.

It’s an honor to receive a five-star review from a certified TripAdvisor Top Contributor, Baronent. What took you so long to get around to us? We are glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciate your thoughtful remarks. Our housekeeping and maintenance staff make a personal investment in the appearance of our resort. We will pass along your compliments. We were happy to get you into your room a full four hours ahead of normal check-in. It speaks to the efficiency of our housekeeping staff that your room was ready that early. As a timeshare resort we do not offer traditional daily housekeeping services. Instead, we provide a midweek refresher on weeklong stays. Immediate housekeeping needs are just a phone call away.

We have three spacious suites to choose from: the Moorea, Bora Bora and Royal Tahitian, which is the Moorea and Bora Bora combined. They range from 580 square feet to 1551 square feet and offer a range of amenities, including (depending on the suite) a kitchenette, full kitchen, steam shower, washer-dryer and separate bedrooms with king beds. What’s more, they are competitively priced with other Las Vegas hotel rooms that offer none of the amenities or roomy comfort.
You haven’t experienced Tahiti Village until you’ve taken a ride on the Lazy River, which encircles a palm tree island and features four different waterfalls. It’s an eighth of a mile of pure floating relaxation. Regarding the construction, Baronent, we just broke ground on a parcel of land that will include a new adult spa, barbecue area and elevated stage. Thank you once again for your feedback. We hope you will consider us again on your next visit to Las Vegas.
