This is a very nice property and has one flaw. The registration desk and the elevators to the rooms are quite a long distance walk. For those with disabilities it was a disadvantage for them, as the elevators are too far away from the registration desk. For those who have one bag and not need of bell service, it is quite a hike to reach the elevator banks, yet alone those with disabilites. Other then that, it's a very nice hotel. The rooms are quite large, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are larger then your usual hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful. They have a very nice movie theater upstairs along with a nice bowling alley to get away from the casino. The ice cream parlor is a great place for a late night sundae!

This hotel, with its beautiful pool, great buffet and lovely room was a delight to stay at. The pool and jacuzzi is large and open later in the evening. Most of the hotel pools in Vegas close early to get you into their casinos. The garden buffet has a nice variety. The chef will make you an omelet for breakfast or an Italian pasta dish for lunch/dinner to your liking. There are several other reasonably priced restaurants such as Steak 'n Shake and Coronado Cafe. During the day there is an inexpensive hot dog stand by the sports bar in the casino. The rooms are comfortable with a flat screen TV and sitting area. The hotel doesn't charge a resort fee. However, there is a charge to use the fitness center. The hotel is located on the strip south of the airport. Since we had a car this was not an issue.

We had been given two rates when we booked and chose the lesser rate. The slightly higher rate included a coupon book with coupons for 50% off in the Buffet.

We we arrived and checked in we were given the coupon book anyways. Great customer service. I had left Club card at home and was promptly given another one at check-in.

The room was much larger than other rooms on the strip. It was clean and very quite.

Nice to have no "resort" fee.

I look forward to staying here again.

South Point is an awesome hotel, it is on Las Vegas blvd before all the strip craziness but not far at all. The rates are great and the beds are extremely comfortable, large rooms and nice bathrooms with coffee machines which are a rare find now. The restaraunts are all great food including their cafe which is affordable and lots of yummy food in large amounts. When you check in you also get your savings book which is well worth it! Love this place and will go back anytime!
