“My Favorite Hotel/Casino in Vegas”

I really loved staying at the Wynn! I have stayed thus far at the Venetian, New York New York, Monte Carlo, and Luxor as well, but the Wynn is my favorite. I think the rooms at the Venetian may be a bit larger, but I found staying at the Wynn much easier. Getting in and out of your room at the Venetian seemed like a lot more work because of how crowded the Venetian always was. The room at the Wynn was very clean and had very luxurious touches. I also found that the crowd at the Wynn in general was more up my alley - people were having fun but there was nothing trashy or tacky (or at least a lot less than some of the other casinos/areas on the strip). I highly recommend!

Oppulance reigns at this world class resort hotel. The Wynn has to be one of the best hotels on the strip. I've been going to vegas for years ( originally starting off in off-strip backpackers flea pits) but gradually worked up the Wynn! As usual wit vegas the check-in can be slow as the queues are large but you don't seem to mind standing in the wonderful lobby. The rooms are spacious and well equipped but if you're a true vegas fan you will spend little time in them! Try the restaurants for superb food. Try and get a deal with upgrades, food and gambling vouchers if you can.

“A notch above the Venetian and Palazzo, with rates to match”

Asked for golf course view (rather than the strip) and was rewarded with a room at the end of the corridor with windows on 2 walls. Rooms very well kitted out with great gadgets though could benefit from DVD player, coffee maker and personal space in the fridge. Wifi access expensive at $14 a day.

Room Tip: Room 2566 at end of corridor benefits from great views provided by 2 all glass walls. Pity about the...

“Exceeded my expectations”

I love THEhotel at Mandalay Bay and never thought I would stray....but the Wynn is very hard to resist. We were with a large business group, so I can't evaluate the check-in, but it was quick. We arrived at about 8 pm on a Wednesday night. I had been to the Wynn before (just to eat lunch) so I knew how lovely the lobby was. This year was the Year of the Dragon, and it was decorated in that theme.

The elevator area has a striking flower display that changes almost daily. Huge glass vases (5 feet tall) harbored giant bouquets of red roses the first night. Every day, I curious to see what kind of flower would be honored.

Our room was the epitome of luxury. Want to open the curtains to see the lovely view? Touch the button next to the bed. The lights and a/c were similarly accessed. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom luxurious. Wynn has its own toiletries which were lemon verbana-scented. Large whirlpool tub and separate glass shower. My only complaint was the lighting, which was horrible. Even the makeup mirror had a useless, meager bulb. The sinks are too far away from the mirrors to lean in and do your mascara or eye makeup (but then again, I'm 5'3".) I wound up going to the window.

The service was impeccable. We did not encounter a surly-- or even indifferent-- employee our entire 5-day stay. All of the employees were very gracious and accommodating. The landscaping was equally impressive. Not a blade of grass out of place. Not a piece of trash to be found. Steve Wynn is supposedly blind so I have no idea how he accomplishes this, but it's a credit to his staff.

My only bone to pick would be the prices for food and the like. Even in the most casual cafe, a glass of orange juice will set you back $6.50. A glass of wine is in the neighborhood of $15. And it's a $14.95 fee per day, per computer, to use the internet. I'm always amazed at how the cheaper hotels offer free wi-fi, but the "luxury" hotels make you pay up the wazoo for it. Doesn't make sense.

But don't let that stop you from staying at the Wynn. It's a beautiful property with outstanding service.

“Totally freaking awesome!”

I absolutely loved staying at the Wynn! From check in to check out it was just a mind blowing experience! Even though the lines were long to check in it only took a few minutes.

Our rooms were awesome! Huge, with countless amenities! The restaurants were great... really no reason to leave! The only thing I have to say that is slightly bad about it was that the hotel is so huge that you can easily got lost! But, the staff are very helpful and will take you to your room if you do get lost.

I can't say enough good things about the Wynn. The bedding was so comfortable. We actually went downstairs and considered buying some of it in the Wynn Store. It was just a great experience!!
