I LOVED the Blue Moon. From the moment I checked in to the minute I checked out, I was treated fantastically by the extremely friendly and welcoming staff, AND by the extremely friendly and welcoming men ;). I arrived quite a while before check in time, and the staff happily kept my bags behind the counter while they made sure the room was ready, and invited me to sit by the pool. This I did, stripping off my clothes (clothes are SO tiresome!) and joining the gentlemen sunning themselves.

The patrons were a slightly older crowd (at 28 I was frequently the youngest at the pool), which suits me just FINE. I want to be the young hot one sometimes! Everyone was extremely friendly, happy to chat about their visit to Vegas (or their work, if they are locals - and many locals visit on a day pass). I very quickly made new friends and was having an awesome time with them, in and out of my room.

The pool area isn't huge, but it's private and well laid-out, with plenty of places to sunbathe and lots of naked guys! The hot tub, in a little grotto beneath a waterfall, was the prime location to get to know the other guests more intimately, and was the scene of epic debauchery on Saturday evening that would make any bathhouse proud. The free BBQ on Sunday was also a highlight, with good free food, plenty of handsome gentlemen, and lots of playing around.

I can't say how great the staff were - they were uniformly friendly, positive, flattering, and delightful. I ended up going to see a movie with two of the folks on the front desk because I had such a fantastic time chatting with them during my stay - now THAT'S service ;).

The location is a little out of the way, and cab fares to the strip tended to add up a little, but this is a small price to pay for a relaxing, exciting, and joyous time. After the extreme straightness of the Strip, it was wonderful to be in a truly gay space for a few days and let all my inhibitions drop.

I'm going back in October, and I can't WAIT.

It was late in the day when I got there and at the first of the week so the crowd was not all that large but had good time anyway....will come back again for sure....Alway room for improvements anyplace.

I have stayed at the Blue Moon Resort in Las Vegas quite a few times over the past few years and have always found it to be an excellent get-a-way. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and modern. The grounds are very well kept, the pool and waterfall are beautiful. The hot tub and steam room are kept at an ideal temperature and very clean. The clothing optional aspect of the hotel is unique, but not necessarily to gay oriented hotels or guest houses. It is simply very friendly and relaxing. The continental breakfast every morning (until 11 AM if I am not mistaken) has many choices and you can certainly find something to your liking. There is coffee on all the time. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the owner, John, is a prince of a fellow. He is there much of the time and is ready and willing to help you out with any issue or questions you may have. He is also continually upgrading the property and has brought it a long ways since it first opened. I highly recommend the Blue Moon if you are simply looking for a unique and relaxing experience in a very nice, clean hotel with friendly hotel guests and staff. Also, on most Sundays John hosts a barbeque around the pool area which is attended by quite a few people, both guests and locals and it is free for guests and visitors. Good food and nice sights. What more can you ask. I do stay at other hotels in Las Vegas with family and business friends but I always stay at the Blue Moon every chance I get. I have never had a bad experience there.

My partner and I booked a trip to see Vegas and Arizona. We booked 8 nights total at the Blue Moon in Las Vegas on the advice of men on the internet that said it was a good place. We began and ended our vacation at the Blue Moon and as a result, we received 2 nights free as we booked twice, each being 4 days.

We found the place Extremely clean. Though boys can be boys and used up all the pool towels, staff had large bath towels immediately to use. Housekeeping was excellent the way they quickly but thoroughly cleaned our room. Breakfast was your usual standard fare of bagels, muffins, etc, along with fresh fruit and cereals. Milk, juices, coffee and tea were available each morning. Staff was friendly and knew 'The Strip' well and could recommend casinos and eateries on and off the Strip. Checkout was quick and easy. On Sundays, we were treated to a Bar B Que by the pool. Great food. The men who stayed there were a diverse group: Smooth, hairy, younger, older, swimsuits or nude. The pool water was cold but refreshing. A great place to stay.
