This place is exactly what you would expect from a campground behind Circus Circus. Yes, we were basically camping on asphalt, but we knew that would be the case. What I didn't expect was the large, clean dog run (where we met lots of other friendly dogs and dog owners), the spotless bathrooms, the clean pool which seemed nicer than Circus Circus' pool, or the diverse and friendly mix of travelers we met. Yes, this campground is smack-dab in the middle of the city, so there is street noise (and even a train), but it's also really inexpensive for the amenities. It is also a bit of a hike to get to Las Vegas Avenue. We had read a lot of reviews of this KOA, and I was a bit concerned about security. Needless to say, this was not an issue. Like other reviewers mentioned, this was well patrolled at all hours. We stayed here in a popup.

We arrived in the late evening and were quickly given a great spot near the pool and restrooms, which was perfect since we were in a camper van. The spot was tiny (a little bigger than a parking spot at the mall), but the location made up for that. The girls got right in the pool, only to have it close ten minutes later, still in the evening. They went to take showers, but the bathrooms were closed for cleaning. The next morning at 7am the pool deck was being pressure washed - 7am!! We decided to clean up and head out, but the bathrooms closed for cleaning at 8am?? The wi-fi was pretty slow, too. But, the KOA was clean and convenient.

Rent the Air Stream if you're not an RVer and want to stay somewhere different. Fun! Cute! Cool inside. Minor problem is it seems to be parked right under a lamp post and the skylight in the bedroom let in a lot of light.

We stayed here in August 2010. We had not pre booked as we did not want to be on a schedule. We arrived to find the park somewhat empty, however there were a few large class "A" 's up at the front of the park. The staff was helpful but the pricing of a site is a bit strange. Close to Circus Circus, The pool was nice and clean, The store had anything you might need and you are within walking distance to most hotels however the bus runs down Las Vegas Blvd., And you can park at most hotels as they all have uncovered ground level parking for RV"S..The only down fall is this location it does not have a fence to stop non RV's from coming through as you are right next to the parking structure of Circus Circus, Also the lights from this structure are bright at night. They do have some Security but I think they need to have 1 enterence with a Gaurd and a Gate. They should walk around at night to check on the park. We would stay again..Stayed here in a Travel-Trailer
