Had to go to Las Vegas to take my dog to the vet. Chose La Quinta, a pet friendly hotel with stove, refrigerator, microwave, all kitchen supplies, that is surrounded by everything you would need on a vacation or business trip. Near hiking, biking trails,shopping, grocery store, pharmacy, casinos, many restaurants, movie theater, library (next door), quick-care, etc. It's a very short drive to the Las Vegas Strip. It was excellent. Quiet, spotless, excellent service, and clean small buffet breakfast. Quality!

We stayed for 4 nights here and we have stayed in alot of La Quinta hotels because they are pet friendly,but this one was one step above. They are famously known because of their pet friendly status,but the service from the moment you arrive until you leave was wonderful. Our suite was clean with no smell of animal or anything and our dog would know. Beds are extremely comfortable and nothing was too much for the staff to do if we asked. Great complimetary breakfast every morning and cookies at the front desk when you return at night. Pets are treated like family and are allowed to stay in the room while you are out as long as a phone # is left. Chris the front desk manager and his staff have got it right. We operate a very sucessful B&B on these principals and look forward to seeing them all again in the new year. Thank-you

Arrived late evening to the La Quinta at Red Rock/Summerlin hotel. Employee Venessa was at the front desk. After traveling with cranky airlines and passengers it was nice to be greeted by a person so late at night who was cheerful, super nice and had a beautiful smile. Checked me in quickly and explained how to set room temperature with room key card and provided the wireless internet access code. After I got to my room I needed to wash some clothes and found the Laundry Room washer and dryer prices very resonable. They even had a container of detergent in the room for guests (no cost). The bed was just right and the variety of pillows on the bed made for a great night's rest. The room had a full size refridgerator, microwave, sink and cups, dishes and eating utensils - which didn't need to use but glad to see it there as may need it on a return trip.
No USA Today newspaper at my door in the AM. Learned they receive only a set number and I was odd man out. Breakfast was good, OJ was watered down. Otherwise I would definately stay here again the next time I end up in 'Vegas on business.

OK, so yes, the hotel is not Sheraton; it isn' new and trendy, but totally worth every penny! Nice, large, heated pool and hot tub (we used the pool when it was 60 outside and were plenty warm!); huge breakfast with three choices of fruit (but the coffee wasn't good at all - I am an espresso person:) and freshly made waffles; and finally HUGE rooms with fridge, microwave, toaster and a coffee maker. It was more like a studio apart. - not just a room at the hotel. It was clean, fresh towels by the pool and in the room every day. Once again, the linens are not Hilton grade, but clean and the bed was comfy. We used the pool every day - very clean and inviting, plenty of space. Our 5 year old said she wants to stay in the place like this every time we travel! Swinning pool was GREAT!!!! Consider if you have a child!!

Two reasons why I gave it 4 stars and not 5: 1) the folks upstairs were so noisy, we could hear literally every stomp on the floor. Took forever to fall asleep one night. 2) Stay here only if you like dogs - the hotel is pet friendly. We didn't mind pets, but we could tell the room wasn't as nice because someone with the pet stayed there ( the sofa where my kid slept was ripped a bit, we noticed some pet hair in a few places - but nothing drastic). You will see pets all the time, so be ready. If you are a pet lover, or a dog owner - this is for sure the place for you!

It is far from the streep and action, which in our case was great. Close to the grocery stores, shopping and restaurants. Easy access to highways. We would absolutely stay there next time we are in Vegas!
