“Unforgettable...”

Our big trip to Las Vegas was supposed to be perfect as we prepared to renew our vows with friends and family. Upon arrival at the Desert Rose, it was obvious that their mission was the same as ours, from beginning and even after our trip was complete. Smiles and welcomes from staff greeted us and stayed with us everyday throughout our stay. Our stay was continually checked on not only by front desk, but from every employee we came into contact with. You felt like royalty with the above and beyond treatment you received from every employee. Even the concierge was amazing and no question or task was to big or to small. Our room was AMAZING!! Two bedrooms, full living room, balcony with a fantastic view, a kitchen with all the amenities; everything was perfect, quiet and extremely comfortable. Pool area was fantastic as well as work out facilities. Breakfast each morning was terrific and getting the evening started with wine and beer served in the main building around the fire place was incredible as well. I like the touch of music that was selected each evening by our server. This gave us a nice chance to visit with other patrons and enjoy the start of great evenings to come. I still can't get over how each employee approached us to make sure our stay was going well. With replies like "Yes mylady" and "yes sir" made your fill almost like a bit of royalty. We were there over Super Bowl weekend, yet everything was so smooth. You can't beat the location, right off the strip. Walking distance, or short cab rides. We asked the front desk for limo service and within minutes our driver G'Day was transporting us up and around Las Vegas. (Def check out Fremont Experience. AMAZING) We found it cheaper to pay for a limo and not feel rushed taking a cab. After a busy night on the strip, it felt so nice to come back to the Desert Rose, to a welcoming staff and an awesome room. Drinks on the balcony each night gave us the chance to sit and take in Vegas. We brought along a party of 5, and had plenty of room and comfort just a quick hop of the strip. We can't wait to come back and bring the whole family in just a couple of months. Oh, once you get to the Desert Rose, def take time to 'stop and smell the roses.' Several different rose plants around the property are worth checking out. Thank you to all the staff of the Desert Rose who made sure our trip was Unforgettable, and still checks on us to see how we are doing. ABOVE AND BEYOND are three words to best sum up our stay at the Desert Rose!

Room Tip: Be sure to ask for a room where the balcony faces the Luxor to catch beautiful sunsets and Las Vega...

As a frequent traveler, this place was among the best hotels (if you can call it that) that I've ever stayed at - and the first time a review was warranted on TripAdvisor. We scored a fantastic deal on Hotwire and were a little hesitant about being off the Strip, but were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. About a 5 minute walk from where you want to get, this place is located right across MGM and beside Hooters, Tropicana, and Excalibur. Lots of cheap & great food at those three properties.

Expecting a typical studio-like hotel room, we had a fantastic 1 bedroom suite with a full kitchen and balcony. Great breakfast in the mornings (grab it and go back to the room for a more pleasant experience), and an under-used pool and 2x hot tubs.

Will be back here for sure, makes the Vegas experience a little bit more less exhausting. =)

Room Tip: Ask for a room high up (3rd floor) with a balcony facing east towards the pool complex.

This hotel is perfect, across the street from the famous MGM ! walking distance from ALL attractions. The hotel itself is very clean, rooms are spacious. We had a 2 bedroom, large and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked. The staff are very pleasant and friendly, especially Robert at check-in and Charlene the resort concerige, she is a wealth of information, loved her. Carl the resort manager is always smiling and again very helpful, he runs a wonderful resort. We will definately be back.

This place was wonderful to stay at in Vegas. Close enough to strip, but away from hustle and bustle for down time. Clean, and very comfortable. Complimentary Breakfast each morning with hot foods, and beer and wine, soft drinks and snacks each evening. Can't beat that. Very friendly, helpful people working at The Desert Rose. Highly recommend, this place is great!

Room Tip: Both one and two bedrooms were great, very nice and comfortable...

I was totally surprised with the value at the desert rose. If I can remember right it was about $100 a night, that was the 23rd to the 26th of December.
It had everything you would need if you were sticking around the hotel.
My only complaint is that there was not nearly enough seating for the breakfast crowd. But, other than that it was perfect.

Thank you for staying with us and posting your review of Desert Rose Resort! We appreciate your honest opinion regarding the breakfast seating. This is a predicament for us, we are currently trying out different lay outs to try to alleviate the seating issues. I hope you truly enjoyed the rest of your stay with us!
