Location is an important factor when you vacation in Vegas, and the HGV at the Flamingo does not disappoint. It's at the back of the Flamingo Hotel property, located mid-strip across the street from Caesar's. Other walkable properties nearby include Bally's, Paris, Bellagio, Mirage, Imperial Palace, Wynn, etc. If you're in Vegas for a long weekend and want to stay in the middle of the action, you can't beat this location.

The HGV staff were very courteous and helpful. They patiently answered my questions and graciously helped me to find my way around. The concierge was not as knowledgeable as I've encountered before at HGV and Hilton properties, but the front desk service more than made up for that.

I had a one-bedroom, which was perfect for me. The front desk assured me it was on the "quiet" side of the hotel. My buddy backed out at the last minute, so I had more than enough space for a solo traveler. The full kitchen, laundry equipment, wireless Internet, and comfortable bed were much appreciated. A balcony would have been nice also, but it seems most Vegas properties don't have balconies. What's up with that?

Every time I travel, I forget one important item. On this trip, I inconveniently left many of my clothes in the clean laundry basket at home. The in-room laundry was a great help! I was also able to purchase supplies and miscellaneous items, such as fruit, water, yogurt, milk, eggs, etc., at the small onsite store.

The noise from the Flamingo pool was very bothersome, especially my first night. I knew in advance a private party would be held that evening, but I was also told it would end by 1 am. Perhaps I was dreaming, but the bomp-bomp bass and the screams from partiers kept me awake until well past that time. The pool noise quieted down much earlier for the other nights of my stay, but the daytime noise was nonstop bomp-bomp bass and screaming. Since I was looking for a quieter place to do some business and relax in peace, I should not have selected this site for this particular stay in Vegas. If, however, I had visited Vegas to party, party, party, this would have been spot-on.

The hotel is very well situated, just behind the Flamingo Hotel, well placed right in the centre of the LV Strip, but in its own grounds at the rear of the Flamingo Hotel.
We had a one bedroom suite and had everything we needed, a separate bedroom, a kitchenette, complete with dishwasher and also washing machine and dryer.
The room was very spacious and clean, nice toiletries were provided and we overlooked the swimming pool at the rear of the property.
There was no noise whatsoever from the strip, although it was only less than a 5 minute walk away.
The only negative comment I would make was regarding the loud music playing constantly throughout the day around the pool area at the Flamingo Hotel, this was a little annoying at times. Perhaps if the music were toned down a little and more middle of the road content was played, that would be ideal!
The staff at the resort were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay, we actually got married during our trip and they made sure our stay was a truly memorable and enjoyable one!!
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody planning to visit Las Vegas, we would certainly stay there again!

I was very disappointed in my stay at this Hilton property. The room never got cool enough, even after I turned the thermostat to it coolest setting and left it there for the duration of my stay. Yes, it is Vegas, but you are supposed to take that into consideration when you are designing the HVAC system. There was also no hot water at 6AM. When I mentioned it to the person who was trying to sell me on a time share in the property, I was told "that happens, a lot of people are getting up and taking showers then." Really? You know there is a problem an you have decided to make us live with it? No, I am not interested in a timeshare. As far as the number of people showering at 6AM, they must all have gone back to sleep after their showers because I didn't run into anyone in the halls.

stayed at this hotel for three nights in April 2011. six of us shared connected studio and one bedroom suite which was perfect. we wanted to be in a non-casino property on the strip and this fit the bill perfectly. the pool was great - on the small size but not crowded and the loud music from the Flamingo bar wasn't too annoying. easy to get too, nice to have the amenities of sitting room, kitchen, etc.
