“Friends and Family Don't have to sleep in your RV”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 March 2012

Great combination of an excellent rv park side by side with a great hotel/casino/entertainment center. You can have friends and family join you on a trip there and they can stay in one or the other and you will still be friends and talking to your family when you all leave as they won't have invaded your privacy. Movie theatre, pools, bowling alley, game arcades, shopping, lots of eating choices, lazer shows and oh yes, lots of gambling! Other great amenity is the free shuttle buses many times a day that will take you to the Strip or downtown Fremont Street and bring you back....no need to drive! $32.00 a day for the biggest rv sites. Good discounted room prices if you use your casino BConnected card.

“Nice Place To Spend a Few Days”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 March 2012

We recently stayed here for four days and quite enjoyed the park. There were a few things that were not great, the dog park and the parking at your site are not great. We had a 40 ft long drive thru site and we have a travel trailer and one ton truck. There was not enough room to park both conviently. Next time will opt for a 37 backin spot where you can park the truck beside the trailer. I found the casino slots to be a bit tight but the light show that they have was great. We didn't eat in the casino or use the pool facilities so are unable to comment on these.

We did however use the shuttle once to downtown, very convient and we also used public transit $5.00 for 24 hours to get to the strip. This was an adventure, you really get to meet some of the locals, which was great! There is a nice Super Walmart across the street from the park and lots of other food and shopping opportunities.

Will come back again.

“Rudest management ever!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 November 2011

In August of 2011 my family & I stayed at Sams Town RV Park. When making the reservations a few months earlier, I told them we had service dogs with us and asked to be put as close as possible to the facilities (Laundry, bathroom) due to us having a pop up trailer and disability issues. They said no problem, just call the week before we get there & confirm the requests. When we got there we were informed that it would be an additional charge (even though there were maybe 20 rv's in the WHOLE park). Ok, it was 115 degrees out, so fine we paid it. Then there was an issue with the front desk girl and my service dog. She asked if it was medically necessary that I swim, I told her "no, it's 115 degrees out, I'd LIKE to swim" she then went on to tell me my dog didn’t have a service dog vest on (even though his leash & collar had all the appropriate tags). I told her that it wasn’t a law to have to wear a vest & in 115 degrees heat I will NOT ask my dogs to wear their vests. From day 1 I felt harassed & at a point even broke down in tears while going to make a complaint to management. The ONLY person who even seemed like she cared was the RV park manager, not even the Sams Town Hotel/Casino management. They said, "oh ______ would NEVER say that" (meaning the girl at the front desk). They gave me a $15.00 credit & the RV park manager apologized. I will NEVER go back to that park; they have NO idea how to deal with people with disabilities and their service dogs!!

Room Tip: Stay on the strip it's worth it! (the breakfast buffett was great)

“RV Park needs lots of improvement”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 August 2011

My husband & I have been staying there off & on for at least a week at a time for the last 3 months. It seems to be getting worse, not better there.

1. Internet is horrible plus you have to pay extra for it. Forget watching netflix, you can barely check emails with their internet service. When & asked the staff about it, they just shrugged their shoulders & said, "yeah, we know".

2. The pool is small & they do not keep it up. The 2 garbage cans they have inside the pool area are always overflowing. There are always pine needles & leaves in the pool & all over the pool area. Kids are allowed to be as loud as they want & there never seems to be any adult supervision.

3. At times the whole park smells like a sewage plant.

4. The last time we stayed, Aug 15-19 the air conditioner was out in the laundry room the entire time we were there. They didn't seem to be in any hurry to fix it & when I asked about it, they laughed at me. Not sure if it's fixed yet.

5. Security is nonexistent. We have dogs, so we walk around the park a lot. When we first started staying there, security drove around a lot, the past couple of months I have not seen them once.
