“Great spot; easy to get to the slopes”

This is an excellent choice for families who want to "ski Tahoe", but don't want to stay at one resort. It is near several slopes, with NorthStar and Heaveny only about 30 minutes away (at most).
Rooms were great; clean and comfortable.
We had an issue with the wireless network, but it was taken care of quickly.
Staff was very helpful and gave us good advice on ski slopes.
We were also very close to the Lake. Great sunrise and sunset views!
We recommend it for a family trip!

“Wonderful! We're going back next year!”

We're Hyatt timeshare owners at another property and went here for four nights in June to get out of the Texas heat. What a great place! The 2BR condo was clean, very well appointed and comfortable with a fireplace, nice furniture, good kitchen and bathroom.
The staff was friendly and helpful, the property is across the parking lot from the Hyatt Hotel Resort, which has a small, clean and not smoky casino and some restaurants. There are also a couple of other nice restaurants within walking distance, plus a number of other good places to eat in Incline Village. We were delighted they were all indigenous to Tahoe...there were no chain eateries on the North Shore at Incline. Mofo's Pizza was great, Alaska Fish Co., and Austin's were three we liked. Prices were reasonable, and there's a great grocery store close, too.
It was our first trip to Tahoe and we think it is God's finest work. It's a 71 mile drive around the lake, and it takes about three hours because you're stopping to take pictures every 15 minutes because its so beautiful.
Day trips would be to the South Shore, which is much more commercialized with big casinos and shows and restaurants and shopping centers. We also went to a mining town about an hour away and rode an old mine train and did some shopping. Incline Village is much more convenient to get to than the South Shore...you fly into Reno and its about a 45 minute drive up the mountain road...very comfortable and beautiful scenery.
One reviewer said the property has no lake view, but guests have use of all the Hyatt amenties, which include a private beach on the other side of the hotel thats less than a five minute walk. Also if you're a golfer, the courses are beautiful with specials and twilight rates. We are taking another trip this summer and extending it to a week and chose Tahoe over Carmel (partly because its easier to get reservations and a bit less expensive). I'd recommend this place highly for some quality time with your spouse and family.

“Just like being home ONLY BETTER!!”

We have a timeshare & this is our home resort. Prior to getting the timeshare (about 8 yrs ago) we'd stayed at the Hyatt Hotel (on the premises) in the cottages on Lake Tahoe. This was what convinced us to buy a timeshare here. The rooms are clean and spacious, every amenity attended to. Pools & hot tubs great, even in winter! The Stillwater Spa is a MUST each time we go to Incline Village. The only real issue we have is the quality of the Hyatt restaurants, which has declined over the last 5 years. The biggest disappointment this past trip ? The Lone Eagle Grille no longer serves the Sunday brunch buffet. This was one of the highlights of our trip each time. But...there are plenty of wonderful local spots for breakfast/lunch AND dinner, so no problem - you won't go hungry. And if you go to this resport you won't be sorry, guaranteed!

“Woods-Lake-Beach: Another Great Hyatt!”

My wife & I and our 2 teens just got back from 4 nights at the Sierra Lodge on Lake Tahoe. It was fabulous - very relaxing. 3 good restaurants - 2 pools - spacious condos - hammocks everywhere - nice small-scale casino - huge beach with pier/dock/bar. Has a very northwestern lodge type feel and vibe with fire places everywhere. We had a great time. Lake Tahoe was a little chilly, but crystal clear. The private Hyatt beach is a great place to relax. Don't miss out on the nightly bonfires around the property for smores - buy marshmellows/chocolate/grahams at the store (it's a lot cheaper than buying them on property every night) - Hyatt will give you the sticks for free. The sports bar (Cutthroats) has awesome nachos - and the Lone Eagle Grill served up some fine fish. Loved this place.
