I'm a bit picky so this older Residence Inn room was not comfortable enough for the family so I moved to a Comfort Inn. Room was in general ok with the bedding and furniture good. The full size refrigerator was loud (hard for the people to sleep in the pullout) and the entire kitchen area was functional but a little tired looking. The overall feeling was of everything being a bit not clean (especially dust, junk in corners, stains, etc) pretty much like where you live but don't notice since you live there but if you visited someone elses place you would notice. The bath/shower faucets were a little hard to adjust and needed about 75 seconds or so for the temperature to stabilize. Older fiberglass tubs which need to be replaced. I have a family member who takes a bath so when I found white powder residue around the tub - this was the last issue to make me decide to go. The staff I encountered from check in to housekeeping there were very helpful and gave great fast service. Most of the negative things I encountered was when it was getting late so didn't want to go through the time it would take to get service / change room, etc. so the hotel did not have a fair opportunity to correct any of these things we encountered in the room. We went to breakfast and the place was packed and was using a banquet room to accommodate the load. Although they did run out of food, the staff worked very hard to keep up. This did delay our time by about 20 min. So overall an adequate property which needs some maintenance performed.
Room Tip: Top floor always
