The Fiesta Henderson is one of the many casinos owned by the Stations brand. All of these casinos are geared towards locals, with cheap buffets, relatively decent odds for gambling, movie theatres, and plenty of discounts. They're also off the strip, though, so if you're traveling to Vegas and want to stay in one of these casinos, you're going to need a car.
This casino is tucked away way out in Henderson, and it's on the lower end of the Stations casinos in quality, but boy, is it cheap. Needing a room for a Sunday night, I went to Kayak on a Saturday and checked to see what was available. The Fiesta Henderson was $15! That's a good deal for a clean room, and I couldn't have asked for all that much more on such short notice. The casino had a $11.99 resort fee and when I tried to use the wireless internet, there were conflicting reports about whether it would cost me $5.99 (as the webpage told me) or nothing additional (as the TV which supplied the password for the wireless told me). Either way, the wireless was pretty useless, but the wired Ethernet connection in the room was totally fine. Some coupons were included in the resort fee, one of which was a $10 match play coupon which I used to win $20 in blackjack, paying for the cost of the room.
This is a pretty old hotel, so don't expect incredible amenities. Simple tub-shower combination. A well-aged CRT TV with a few cable channels. Two elevators for nine floors of rooms. There is a pool, but I wasn't able to get to it before checking out. Noon checkout, too, which is nice.
The hotel has a gift shop with basic sundries, but it closes after 8:00 pm from Sunday-Thursday and 10:00 pm on Friday-Saturday. The front desk sells some basic sundries (e.g. Tylenol) afterwards. There's a Denny's on the property, but the better option is a 24-hour Fatburger.
