Stayed here for about 6 weeks while waiting for my house to close. I would have stayed longer, but we decided to check out and check in at a different hotel around the corner because it went downhill. There were a lot of bugs in the first room, then the heater stopped working so we had to move to a different room. Even though we were stayovers, the rooms could have been cleaner as nothing was ever dusted and there were spider webs that weren't taken down. The breakfast lady Teresa was very nice and everything was well stocked...that was until she went on vacation. After that there was hardly anything put out and what was out was gone within 20 minutes so everything just sat empty with no one attending it or one of the housekeepers. Some front desk clerks were nice (Kathryn and the graveyard lady) however the others had attidudes and lied to us. When we needed to exend our stays the girl that works days always told us they were sold out, then we would talk to Kathryn and she said they had plenty of open rooms. A newer clerk started and all he did was sit in front of the tv in the breakfast room blasting the kardashians (I could clearly hear the tv at the end of the hallway) and many times i saw people standing at the front desk being ignored because he was too into the TV. You can find better rooms at the same or better prices. We stayed because it is close to work and they allow dogs and do not charge for them.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We know just how valuable your time is and appreciate your feedback. We understand that all of our guests have different needs and we do sincerely make it our daily goal to exceed the expecations of our guests, and I apologize that for you this was not the case. Your commentary has been communicated to all of the departments in full detail, so that we may be able to correct these issues for any future guest experiencing our hotel. I just hope that when we spoke over the phone during the time that you were negotiating a discounted 'local' rate with me - for yourself and for your sister (which was provided for you, by the way), you should've mentioned these issues so I could've addressed it right then and there. As soon as I read your post, we contacted our dedicated pest control vendor and they have confirmed that there were no bugs in room and even spider webs. However, the room was still treated for prevention. In regards to the AC, a brand new unit has been installed today. Again, thank you for your review and for bringing it to our attention. It is only through customer feedback that we are able to improve our product and service. Congratulations again on your new home! Have a great New Year!

“crusty soap dishes”

Our room was not as clean as one would hope, arrived very late and did not inspect bathroom, was very dismayed to discover soap encrusted on both soap dish niches in shower. Had to clean entire bathroom before I let the rest of the family use it. Left for the day to visit with family and again returning late were upset to find that the room had not been freshened while we were gone (all day). Reported this to the desk, and though they were apologetic, there was no effort to rectify the situation. Had to stay there that night and one last night because of our plans and never felt quite at ease sleeping there. If the bathroom was dirty, was the rest of the room really clean? The only saving grace of this Hampton Inn was that the breakfast was nice and had many fresh selections.
We usually choose Hampton Inns, will not stay at this one again, though

We are deeply apologetic that you experienced an obvious 'overlook' within our housekeeping inspections. Our trained inspectresses routinely check all of our rooms to ensure that we are offering a clean, well-maintained room. l reviewed your comments with our Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Supervisor so that we can make any necessary improvements in this area.

We are pleased, though, that we were able to meet your expectations regarding our breakfast. Again, thank you for your review. It is only through customer feedback that we are able to improve our product and service. “Bed Bugs and Shuttle screw ups!”

I was very disappointed in with my stay at this hotel. First the shuttle didn't show up. After calling multiple times they said I wasn't on the list even though I set it up the night before and confirmed it the day of. After finally getting to the hotel the first room I was sent to was dirty. The second had bed bugs crawling over the sheet by the head board. Each time I went back to let the front desk know about the problems there was no apology they just handed me a new key like it was nothing and said try this room! Fine I had a room I needed for the conference that was there in the hotel and that was only two strikes. The afternoon before I was leaving I went to the front desk to ask for the early shuttle the next morning. Upon getting up early the next morning they told me there was no one scheduled for the shuttle! I just made my flight! The mattress was very dated with many springs in my back through the night and the heater was so load I finally just turned it off. On the Bright side the breakfast staff was very friendly and the breakfast was above average for a hotel breakfast.

Unfortunately, your experience was not the same as many of our other satisfied customers have received. We will share you comments with our team to improve our consistency in providing excellent customer service to all guests. As you know, bed bugs travel surprisingly well, but what's most important is that we were quick to get rid of them as soon as possible, to stop them from spreading rapidly - and that was because of you who reported it to us. So, we thank you for bringing it to our attention. We have immediately called our dedicated pest control company who is equipped to handle bed bugs. “Great place for a decent price”

We drove from NJ to CA and made a stop in Las Vegas. This is one of the better Hampton Hotel I have been staying. Lots of fruits for you to take and hotel staff was very friendly. The room is very clean and comfortable. I would go back again next time

“Great place for Family”

We stayed here with our 2 sons (ages 8 and 10) for one night before going out to the Grand Canyon. We did not think dropping $300 bucks for a room on the Strip a good thing. We needed a respite from the non-kid friendly sights on the Strip.

The front desk workers who greeted us were very friendly. We were up way too early as we flew in from the East Coast and the staff was great with the kids...even at 4 am.

Standard breakfast fare from Hampton Inn. Room was nice. Shared pool with the Holiday Inn Express with a hot tub was just what we needed in our jet lagged stupor.
