We were treated with respect at Motel 6 and the rooms were clean. This is important to us as a motel who caters to pets. We had a certificate to stay and it was redeemed with no problems. The only problem is that we had to take our pets whenever we left and could not leave them unattended for any amount of time. This was tough when we went to the movie and the temp outside was 7 degrees.

Located about 1/2 mile off the main road (little traffic); building is perpendicular to road (quieter); easy in/out; clerk knew the area and recdommended a good family restaurant (Waterhole).

As with most Motel 6's, the rooms at the Fallon Motel 6 are spartan, but spacious, functional, clean, and new/new-ish. The price is above-average for a Motel 6 in a rural place, but appropriate for Fallon.
Unusual PRO: this Motel 6 has INTERNET! Most unusual (as of 2/2007.)
Bad CON: this place is noisy. WAY noisy. The walls, ceiling, door are THIN. More so than is usual for Motel 6's. Perhaps the building was a conversion/renovation from an older establishment. As I type this, the table is vibrating steadily because my neighbor two doors down is running his air conditioning unit. I can clearly hear each car and semi that passes (and I'm in the back of the building.) When I run my AC at full blast, the semi's still come through loud and clear.
Sure wish I could have afforded to stay at the Holiday Inn that was recommended here. That place looks nice, and it's set way back from the road. But their price is almost double the M-6.
