The service here was fantastic. We had a minor check in issue and the staff went above and beyond to make things right for us. From start to finish service was outstanding. Our room was clean and comfortable which is always a gamble with hotels in this price point. For the price point this hotel falls in, it is a top tier place to stay. As a frequent business traveler in more elite hotels, I was still impressed with this stay as a place to take my family.

Oh and don't miss breakfast at JR's....good stuff.

Nice hotel with many rooms. Western themed. Free HBO, free local calls, free Wifi with an average signal, coffee maker, hair dryer and laundry service. We had a handicap room which had a huge private bathroom.
JR's restaurant, located on the premises was not good for us at dinner. It tasted like cheap cafeteria food, we had halibut and fish and chips which was overcooked. They are pricey for what you get. You're better off going to Stockman's Casino for breakfast which was great with beautiful western murals all over the walls. The western skillet was awesome along with the strawberry waffles which were very filling.
There are many nicer hotels in the area, but you'll pay the price. We won't be coming back to this one.

First off let's me say, they screwed up our reservation. We needed a rollway, but they don't do them.. Best America's web site didn't pass back to them my number so they couldn't call to tell me.. I turned up with no bed for my boy.. They apologized.. But went out of there way to sort it, right in the middle of a convention and sold out hotel.. Calls to the manager at home.. Not only did they sort it by finding a room with a connecting kitchen, a sofa sleeper and and a closed door (he snores loudly so very happy). But charged no extra.. Service is very good.. I gave them the wrong room number for bedding for the sofa sleeper, they still found us by elimination..

The rooms are very large, clean and beds very comfortable. Food in the restaurant great value and tasty..

This our new home in Elko.. And it's great dealing with people who care about their guests..

Everyplace else in Elko was SUPER overpriced. Way, way overpriced for what you were getting. If it wasn't overpriced, it was full. WTF.

So, we gave this place a try. It's not for a romantic getaway, it's not going to make you feel like a Vegas high-roller, instead you'll feel like "old people on a casino bus trip". Yeah, it's pretty cheesy, but we only wanted a place to sleep. On that front, it was OK. Cheapest by far, the room was "old 70's motel" feeling. Clean? Well, not obviously dirty, but didn't feel like it'd been deep cleaned in a while. For one night, when you're tired and going to pass through... this will do.

Oh, and to the two motocyclists that parked blocking the handicap space? I hope you got your bikes stolen, you inconsiderate dirtbags.
