So our room was spacious but a little dingy, it didn't have a bug screen when most rooms looking around had it. The cleanliness could have been better, it was okay, the carpet wasn't really vacuum-cleaned well, some crumbs etc.
The bathroom was really run down and urges for a renovation, the shower nearly breaks out, a hole in the door was filled with paste that is now flaking off , and there is chalk all over the tub and adjacent wall.
There were two beds, one was unusable because the mattress was saggy and duckboards already cracked or broke somewhere when looking under the bed.
TV worked, and A/C was powerful and adjustable (!)...Internet again wasn't really "high speed", but it's free and worked.
Location is on the major street that merges into the highway to Reno, so accessible and not off sight, but sure there is traffic. Not too bad though, it's a really small city.
There are plenty of fast food joints, gas stations etc. - typical motel.
What was positive was the friendliness of the front desk manager, they generally seem trying to care, they also send somebody over to check on the shower as we didn't understand how to get the nearly broken-out fitting to work.
They might have less run down rooms who knows - given the price about 60 dollar a night you can't really complain. No bugs, no extreme dirt. If you're on a tight budget why not give it a try, but there might be better.
