Exterior: Unusual style for a Motel/Hotel, very pleasant on the eye.
Reception: Like its Sunday man, cool it. A pleasant young man, not terribly efficient but nice with it - Good
Ease of access: Fair, no assistance but elevator convenient -Good
Room: Older style, excellent size, minor problems with presentation but great value for money.
Breakfast: Deceptive, not showy but its all there, with choices. Not sure about "de luxe" but very good nonetheless.
Tip: No comment, we were there on 9/11 and it was very quiet.

The Hardman House hosted my 40 golfers for a weekend. We usually stay at a casino but decided to try something new this year. First things first; the property was clean, quiet and comfortable. Every employee I encountered, from the front desk to the room attendants were friendly and attentive. The walk to the Nugget for gaming was only a few minutes and worked out well for our group. After reading a couple of negative comments on the included breakfast, I'll say this; if you're ok not indulging on bacon, eggs, sausage and hashbrowns every morning, it works fine. Bagels, cream cheese, toast, yogurt, fruit and a couple of different cereals along with juice and coffee. It was basic and good although the coffee was too weak and can I please have some peanut butter for my raisin bread toast? (which was good!) Overall, a clean comfortable place to stay at a nice price. It's cool to see a little hotel working hard to please!

Good, clean, basic accomodations right in the heart of Carson City. Nothing fancy, but nice rooms. The hotel was very quiet, and therefore very restful. The price was also very reasonable for what you get, especially in comparison to other hotels in the area. Only drawback was the continental breakfast was very weak.

Staff are super friendly. Location is right across from the old Mint Museum, Childrens Museum, and The Nugget (try the lasanga).
Stayed a coule of times over the last 7 years. If you catch them right, they are cheaper then most of the stock name brand hotels in the area. I like the brick exterior. There was a small glitch with the window, but staff addressed it right away.
I like the underground parking. A very good place to stay. Good jumping off point for a Virginia City day trip. Also see the Railroad museum on the other end of town near Hwy395.
