We had several rooms reserved for a 2 night stay & all of us were very pleased with the red carpet service & accommodations. We had no complaints & highly recommend this hotel. Great job Hampton Inn!!

My Family has been enjoying this hotel for a year; however, after a management change the rate increased $35 offering no York College discount. So, we will stay elsewhere.

We stayed here on our way to and from South Dakota. The hotel appears to be pretty new. Our room had 2 comfortable queen beds, a large flat screen TV and granite counters. The pool and exercise room looked nice; however, we didn't use them. The place was clean; the front desk people were friendly and helpful. I thought the breakfast was good. My husband thought it was OK the first time and pretty good the second stay. The breakfast area was clean. There's juice, coffee, milk, fruit, pastries, waffle batter and a waffle iron; bagels, and a hot entree (flour tortillas and scrambled eggs with sausage one day and cheese omelettes the next time). The location of the hotel is great. It's next to a super Wal-Mart which was not crowded at all. It is also convenient to highways. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because on our second stay, I had to clean around the metal rings in both the tub and sink because there was a little dirt that house keeping missed. Also, the carpet is dark but it appeared darker in areas like it was dirty or stained (this was in our second room). We stayed on the 3rd floor both times and it was quiet. There is a corn field behind the hotel. We would definitely stay there again.

Enjoyed the good Hampton Inn quality again in York. We booked online while traveling based on how far we thought we could drive in a day. The location provided easy access from I-80 and was right at Hwy-81 where we needed to head south. The bed was really comfortable and bathroom was clean. They had good water pressure, so the shower was refreshing at the end of a long driving day. The breakfast was good even at 15 minutes before 10, when they stop serving. They were extremely punctual with the stopping time and put away all the napkins before we were done eating. The lady working the breakfast kept the area stocked, but was not very friendly. The "bagel toppers" (egg, cheese and bacon bits on 1/2 a bagel), were good, but we preferred the mini omelettes we've had at other hamptons. We would stay here again without hesitation.
