We were traveling west and wanted to avoid Omaha, NE. We took state road 2 toward Lincoln, NE. The hotel was very clean, inexpensive, and the staff was very friendly.

This place exceeded my expectations for such a small town.

Everything was clean. The shower was all one unit, not just a tub, so no caulking or grout that can get gross.

Breakfast was pretty good. The waffles were quite tasty, assorted juices, cereals, bread for toast, fruit, coffee. Basic, but did the trick.

Front desk was always helpful.

We had a king size bed in our room. Not the comfiest, but not the hardest hotel bed I've ever slept in. Also had a minifridge and microwave in our room as well. The free Wi-Fi was nice too.

Ran into a lot of people staying there that weekend in Omaha for the CWS. I guess the $70 a night sounded a lot better than an equivalent hotel in Omaha that weekend which would have run probably $160+.

The combination of price, cleanliness, and amenities was really a surprise. Would definitely recommend it.

My husband and I arrived at the Sleep Inn in Syracuse, NE and were delighted with the accommodations. Syracuse is a little off the beaten path (about 30 miles off I80 on the way to Nebraska City) but we wanted to see a part of the state that we had not been to before. The hotel had a lovely swimming pool, clean guest laundry facilities and a workout room. Our room was very clean with a large bathroom and whirlpool tub. The hotel is also pet friendly! We are making this trip with two large dogs so finding accommodations can be kind of tricky. This Sleep Inn is a nice place to stay should you find yourself in southest Nebraska.
