I held a multi-day conference at the Marina Inn. The facility has been beautifully renovated. My room had a microwave and fridge and a beautiful view of the river. The facility was quiet and staff was extremely accommodating.

The first day of the conference the meeting space was not set up as needed and staff immediately assisted in setting the room up as needed without complaint or delay. They anticipated my needs and rarely did I need to ask for much else.

The rates are well below what one would expect of a facility such as this.

Just got back from a weekend there. Horrible. It was the weekend before Halloween, so Fall weather (50s) and room heat was stuck on. When we got there room was 80 degrees. I adjusted thermostat and nothing happened. Called maintenance and guy came up and said heat was off, and to open the windows. We had our 2 and 3 year old with us, and were on the second floor. The windows were at floor level and one window didn't even have a screen, so only option was to open the windows 2-3 inches then push heavy chairs in front of them so kids couldn't get near them. My cousin was staying there also and their heat was stuck on too.

Room service food was terrible, burger was rare to the point of being raw (they didn't ask how I wanted it, just made it that way). And both times orders were wrong...wrong food, missing silveware.

Only bright spot - the rooms were big (had a suite) and bathroom was huge. Kids loved the huge tub.

Room was quite large for the price. Beautiful view of the river and the Iowa side.

Stayed here with our family for a wedding, reception was at hotel. This is our second stay in a year. The room we had this stay was ground level, with a door opening to parking lot. That made loading and unloading convenient. Room was clean, great bedding and bathroom was nicely updated from last year.
