I was passing on my way down through Nebraska to visit family in Kansas. I see a sign for a Super 8 and think. Eh, well better than nothing.

I should have kept going. Or kept looking until I found the other motel. Which I did actually find later.

My room was a complete mess. I dont think it was even cleaned. I went to the front desk and asked for a different room. And that was a battle in itself. They outright refused at first. But after taking them to the room with me. I succeed in getting a different one. Sadly, the new one wasnt much better. The place stank of some sort of mildew. And I only had one towel and I dont think there was a TV remote anywhere in the room. (believe me I looked.) I could have called the front desk again and asked for another remote or towels. But it was almost 1am at this point and considering how much of a hassle it was just to get a clean room. I just went to bed.

The next morning, I went looking to see if I could have stayed anywhere else for the journey back. I found a East Hill Motel on the other side of seward. The lady at the front desk was nice and helpful. I asked to see a room. And it looked much better than the super 8.

So, for everyone else. Dont stay here. Either go on, stay in Lincoln. Or try the East Hill motel like me when I come back through in a week.

If I wasn't so tired and in need of sleep, I proably would give this this one a miss. The room had a very unsettling smell and the layout is a little strange. The staff was friendly and allowed dogs. Not the best but I am not a fan of the Motel 6 or 8 chain. If you can go a little farther,you will find something better. The complimentary breakfast was one to avoid.

Not the finest in the Super 8 chain, but we weren't looking for much either. The room was not the cleanest, but it did the trick for the 7 or so hours we were here. Look for better out there.
