We originally planned on stopping in Kearney on our way home from Christmas but because of good roads we decided to move on a bit. I went on my phone and canceled our original reservation but it wouldn't let me book a hotel on points so I called the main reservation desk. Being that we were in the midde of Nebraska my Verizon phone didn't have a clear signal so we just took the room they gave us and knowing the hotel looked wide open and it seemed we could move into a King rooom upon arrival around 6. To our suprise the desk said since we were staying on points we could not change rooms. If I would have been able to book a room on on the road like I can now and a King is clearly available for the same 15,000 points. Shame on you for being so lazy not to change our room!!! If it had been before 6 I could have canceled the reservation in the lobby and rebooked the room we wanted. We have stayed here once before, rooms are nice, like the bathroom sink outside of the restroom so it's easy for two to get ready at the same time, breakfast is the usual fare for a HI Express, Just disappointed they refused to move us to a room that would have been available to us had I had FULL internet access on the road.
