Of all the places we have stayed on this trip, our room at this hotel was the quietest and cleanest. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast at Penny's was deliciousl. Great location, easy off and on to I-80, and a great restaurant (Whisky Creek) nearby. Will gladly stay here again.

Last year we stayed here for under $50 and it was quite a bargain. This summer it was $80, and at that price I started to see some negatives. The main problem is that the they use fluorescent lamps throughout the room, and the lighting is quite harsh. The hallways are under lit and dark. The rooms are good, but basic. Penny's Diner is very good and worth a visit. Traditional silver "railcar design" diner.

We LOVED our stay at the Oak Tree Inn and will be returning this year. It is a very clean, well maintained, and wonderful environment from a smaller chain. Plus the food at Penny's Diner is SOOOOOOOO yummy!!

Otherwise good room at a reasonabe price but the walls must have been made out of rice paper. If you don't mind semi-trucks rolling by every 10 seconds, this is the place for you. It was clean, and roomy, but I would ask if there is a quieter area of the hotel. Or bring your earplugs and sleeping pills.
