“Another great visit to the Embassy Suites”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

We stayed at the Embassy Suites on 1/21/12. We were seeing a show at the Lied Center and decided to have another "in town getaway." We arrived around 1:30 and were able to check in right away. Our show was at 3pm, so when we came back, it was time for the complimentary cocktail hour. It was really busy, but the staff at the bar were still friendly and smiled at everyone. We found a table and enjoyed a couple of relaxing drinks. Then we headed over to the hotel restaurant for some soup & salad. They server made sure to talk to the chef, as my husband has a gluten allergy, so we knew what items on the menu were OK to have. The french onion soup and wedge salad were very good. The room was quiet and I never heard any outside noise while we were there. Breakfast was good, lots of choices, as always. We did use the hot tub and sauna after breakfast. There were a few families at the pool, but it was not too crowded. We will definitely stay again.

“Relaxing, Pleasant & Inviting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

We enjoy staying at the Lincoln Embassy Suites. The staff are almost always pleasant, especially the valet staff. A they say Location, Location, Location. This is in a great area with many venues to eat at. We missed the evening Managers reception this last stay, but have always found them to be nice. The pancakes and fresh eggs in the morning are always a plus. The suites were clean and very comfortable.

Room Tip: Just be sure to ask for a room on a floor with no children if you want a quieter stay.

“Very nice hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2012

We needed a hotel to stay in September to catch a Husker's game before flying out to Los Angeles the next day. This hotel is perfect for that. We are generally Marriott Residence Inn fans, but Embassy suites are quite comparable. We're now fans of both.

My husband and our 2 young kids stayed in the main bedroom, and grandma and grandpa who came with us to catch the game slept in the outer room sofa bed. The hotel is so popular, I had to book this room about 4 months out, and we couldn't get a 2nd room closer to the date. All sold out. Prices I think were a tad bit high, I think because of the game. That was the only downside, everything else was great!

The view was awesome, we faced the stadium and we could see the giant screen televising the game while we were watching the kids in the room.

The lobby/atrium area is also very beautiful. The elevators are made of glass so you see everything as you're in it. Giant party at the atrium during game days, tons of people watching on big screen tvs and drinking. Fun atmosphere! Gotta experience a stay here during game day at least once in your lifetime :-) Then at night, there was a party right outside.

Such a nice area for walking outside too. We went to the Husker's Store, so cool for photo ops, and then we stumbled upon a Five Guys Burger! Yay! That's our fave burger joint in the DC area and Lincoln has it?! Nice restaurants in the area also. The area is very walkable, my husband and dad in law walked a few short blocks to watch the game.

We also appreciated the indoor pool, the kids and I swam and had a great time. We would stay here again when we get a chance. Breakfast is quite awesome too, they had everything!

Room Tip: If you're booking for a game night stay, book months in advance to make sure you get a room!! Tr...

“An excellent property”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

As with almost every Embassy Suites I have visited this property is superb. The staff is great and the location is excellent. It is within walking distance of several good restaurants and bars. The made to order omelets were great and the food at the evening reception was good as well.

“Great place to relax after a long drive.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 December 2011

Large, comfortable rooms, great breakfast, and an outstanding atmosphere. The bar was a bit expensive but was expected. We had to ask for free internet because we didnt want to pay $10. (Most hotels dont charge for internet.)
