Tag line references that they offer a quiet night of sleep. We checked in at 11:00 p.m. - exhausted from 7:00 a.m. Motel is placed between 2 car lots - so it is lit up like a stadium. We asked about the lights, and were assured that the curtains blocked the light - well a two inch gap at the bottom was a sign of our first problem. Room had a whirlpool tub in the center to fit 4 people. Kind of dorky but we disregarded until 3:00 a.m. At that time, the people above us decided to use their whirlpool. We listened to this tub run and drain until 7:30 a.m. We called the front desk, and he said "I'm new so I'll let the manager know in the morning." At my 2nd call at 5:00 a.m. I said "this is ridiculas. Just to let you know we are not paying full price for this room" Upon checkout, we asked what was going to be done to rectify the problem?" The person in charge shrugged his shoulders and said "10% discount". We said that was not enough. He said "well the customers whirlpool did not work so we had to move them to a room where it worked." We asked "at the expense of our sleep?" We asked him to call the manager on the phone. She said "I'm on vacation, tell them too bad and I'll deal with it when I get back on Monday" We said "not good enough - you need to get the next person in charge on the phone." The front desk person was beligerent and yelled at us. We held our ground and said "listen, no one offered to move us to a quieter room. We're not paying full price for this room and a $10 discount is not enough." He called his Regional Manager, who then approved not charging us. Point being - their customer service is lousy. Avoid this hotel and got to Staybridge across the street.
