“Home away from home, as cheesy as that sounds.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 December 2011

The hotel is a perfect place for a family to stay. The rooms are basically 2 bedroom apartments. Myself, my husband and my grown daughter stayed 4 nights this past weekend. It had two bathrooms, two completely separate bedrooms, one an upstairs loft and the other on living room level, which made it easy to get ready and easy to just hang out. We had a room with a fireplace (bought a small log from front desk) which was wonderful. Only negative thing I can think of was that the free hot breakfast was not very good. Not much choice and not set up attractively. We have a new granddaughter in Lincoln and will be spending plenty of time there. This is where we will stay. Basically, loved it.

Room Tip: 2 bedroom rooms are on the 2nd floor so you must take suitcases upstairs.

“Excellent Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

My daughter and I make a trip every fall to Lincoln for a mother/daughter trip to shop and have fun. This is the second time we've stayed at Chase and we absolutely love it and will definitely be returning customers. Both trips we stayed in a 2 Queen Bed Suite. I have a hard time finding a hotel with comfortable beds and Chase's pillow top mattresses are absolutely wonderful. They are soft and I don't toss and turn and wake up with a backache. Another big reason we stay at Chase is because we don't have to listen to doors slamming and people/kids walking or running up and down hallways at all hours like you do at other hotels. It's like having your own separate apartment all to yourself. It's very quiet and peaceful. The location is great too, centrally located near all our favorite shopping places. The fireplace is a nice touch, we enjoy the coziness it adds to the room. Our room was very spacious and clean and provided all the amenities we needed. I think their rates are very reasonable and worth it for the comfortable beds, spacious room, friendly staff and their great breakfast!

“Kinda wanted to move in”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 November 2011

This place is the perfect place for a family. It is a full apartment with kitchen and full size appliances, fireplace and nice big bathroom, closets, comfy fold out sofa and queen bed. I would highly recommend it for anytime EXCEPT the weekend of home football games. They had us sign a PARTY POLICY about noise, alcohol and parties even though I am in my mid-50's and travelling with my 77 year old father. Overall, this is a great place - clean, large, comfortable, easy access (no stairs).

Room Tip: If you are travelling with kids or tons of luggage, ask for a room close to the parking lot in the b...

“Huge Room, Good Experience Overall”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

I stayed at Chase Suite Hotel in Lincoln for a short business trip, and had a good overall experience.

As another reviewer pointed out, the hotel appears to have been converted from an apartment complex. It's comprised of individual buildings holding 8 rooms each, with sidewalks connecting all of the buildings.

That's probably the reason for the very large room size, including a full kitchen. There are even small balconies.

I frequently have difficulty sleeping in hotel rooms, but the bed was quite comfortable.

The breakfast was chaotic and crowded, as is nearly every "free breakfast" hotel, and appears to generate an incredible amount of waste, but the food quality was acceptable.

The hotel is in an unusual location. It's just south of busy O Street, but is not visible from the street and is found between several office buildings.

If you look closely, you can see that the facilities are older and could use some renovation. The wood on the staircases is showing its age, as are some of the fixtures in the room.

Still, that is a minor quibble. This was a good experience at a decent price, and I would stay here again.

Room Tip: Rooms are located in separate buildings containing 8 rooms. Each building is 2 stories, and second f...

“Average Hotel, but it worked for what we needed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

My husband and I were in town for a college football game and the hotels closer to the game were either all sold out or super expensive. This hotel offered a decent rate and room.

The facility appears to be converted from apartments so they are very big and convenient with lots of counter space and a full kitchen (fridge, microwave, stove, etc). The shower / toilet area is VERY dark (we stayed in room 112), but the vanity area outside it is a little better.

The room isn't set up so you can watch TB in bed, but does have a couch. Our alarm went off atmidnight, but I'm sure that's not the hotels fault, but rather a previous guest playing jokes. The rooms badly need to be insulated as you can hear EVERYTHING that happens above or outside your room. Even if guests are quiet, you can still hear them!

The complimentary breakfast was decent - the waffles were good and the fruit was pretty fresh. I have become accustomed to bisquits and gravy at these types of continentals and there wasn't any.

They offer a complimentary shuttle that is really convenient and nice to use. They have plastic ponchos for sale too that are reasonable in case you're headed to the game and the weather isn't looking good.

Room Tip: I'd recommend being upstairs so you can't hear anyone above you.
