“An excellent place to stay”

We got to our room about two hours before the posted check-in time and we stayed 2 nights. The room and the inn were clean and fresh. Breakfast looked just like the Comfort Inn ad running on TV at the time. The location was surrounded by places to eat. We would choose to stay here any time we are in the area.

“Great Service/Stay”

We are a group of storm chasers who arrived late one night after making a last minute reservation. We always are making last minute decisions on where to stay, etc. so after the first night, we didn't know whether we would be staying a second night or moving on. The staff was great and let us have a late check out the first day so we could analyze the latest weather data and make a decision whether to stay a second night or not. On top of that, the hotel is spotless, beds are comfortable and breakfast was above normal.

The staff and manager are extremely friendly, taking time to help us find unique local restaurants, etc.

I would recommend this place over and over again. The service, quality and friendliness of the staff is top notch.

“Nice Stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 July 2010

We stayed at this Comfort Inn on two consecutive Sundays on our way to and from Salt Lake City. As other reviewers have noted, it is a nice, clean, quiet motel with restaurants and shopping nearby. There's even a gas station right across the street.
The desk staff at check in and check out were friendly and courteous. At check in around 7 pm, the clerk even offered to make fresh coffee! Breakfast included the usual: cold cereals, waffle maker, juices, bolied eggs, sweet rolls and bagels, etc.
Our room appeared to have been renovated recently and was very clean and comfortable.
In short, this Comfort Inn was a good value for the dollar.

“Absent/Unresponsive Management”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2010

Good location, decent room (bathroom too small, however), small swimming pool, breakfast room too small, but overall, the facilities were satisfactory for the price. But what soured me on this hotel was the inability to deal with a little problem (that should not have been a problem at all). In our case, our room didn't get cleaned one day. In the afternoon, we called down to the desk to inquire. Well, the cleaning staff had left for the day. No, I (the lone desk worker) can't bring you towels right away, and if you aren't in your room, I can't leave them. Kept implying that it was probably our fault -- we must have left the Do Not Disturb sign on the door (we didn't). They'd have to investigate, they'd have to leave a note for the absent manager. But they couldn't solve the problem, and still charged us full price for the room. Thank goodness there was no major problem, like an electrical issue or a broken toilet, because we would have been on our own.

“Noisy, Noisy, Noisy”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2009

This is my third stay here in the past 6 months. Previous stays were OK. However, last night and tonight have been a nightmare. There is a restaurant/bar in the neighborhood and starting around 6pm both nights there is music blaring. I honestly can't figure out where the noise is coming from. There is a Wendy's across the street, and parking lot. A Carlos O'Kelly's next door . . . which I thought was a family restaurant. After listening to the noise last night, I finally had enough tonight. Called the front desk since I thought a fellow guest had the radio turned up too loud. The front desk clerk said it was a bar and "I can't get hold of them to tell them to turn the music down". The bass is driving me up a wall, and I can not believe that the hotel can't do something.

Otherwise, this is a clean, perfectly good place to stay. A typical Comfort Inn, you know what to expect. The staff is friendly, the breakfast OK. There is a pool and hot tub, no exercise room. Location is good, close to the mall and hospital. There is a Starbucks down the street as well. The price is right, but it's my last stay here. I'd rather pay the extra bucks at the Hampton and at least get a good nights sleep!
