I felt a bit like a princess with morning tea/coffee service delivered to my room (with a rose) 30 minutes prior to breakfast. Then to top that, the breakfast was divine. One morning I was served a pineapple cut in half filled with all kinds of fruit, freshly baked apricot scone, fresh squeezed orange juice, brioche stuffed french toast with apple/huckleberry sauce and bacon. Our room had a wonderfully comfortable queen bed with great bedding and lovely antiques. We had a nice private bath with tiny shower. Chris waited on us hand and foot and was a delightful host. I overheard him giving guests a couple of pairs of sunglasses to borrow because he was worried that they were going crosscountry skiing without sunglasses. What a guy! You are offered a glass of wine or beer at 5:00 as well as sherry. That was a fun way to connect with some of the other guests. If you are skiing you can take a shuttle to the mountain if you'd rather save gas or if staying in town, the B&B is only a block away from shopping and great dining choices. For $150 per night I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Whitefish.
