We stayed at the Alpine Motel for 3 nights and found it to be pleasant and comfortable. The main purpose of our trip was to visit Yellowstone National Park and the Alpine couldn't have been much closer to the park's entrance.
The room had the look and feel of a cabin, but with another room attached. It was at the end of the building, so it only shared one wall with the neighboring room. The occupants of the next room could be heard a little, but it was not a problem. The room was well-appointed with a small fridge and microwave. Everything was very clean and proper. There was not a coffee-maker in the room, but there were coffee, teas and cider available nearly round-the-clock in the office. We chose a room with two queen sized beds. They were warm and comfortable. Yes, as others have mentioned, the toilets are situated a little tight in the bathroom. We had no issue with this, but a larger person may. The toiletries were plentiful. I don't recall ever seeing deodorant or a razor in a hotel bathroom before the Alpine. The free wi-fi signal was strong and without any problems. There was a space to park our rental car just outside our room's door.
There is an independent market across the street and the Old Town Cafe just next door which was great to grab breakfast before hitting the park.
Brian and Patty were helpful and informative hosts. They were always available and gave us some great advice.
I feel it's important to support small businesses. They are part of America's backbone and contribute to the strength of local communities.
