I have been to the O'Haire Manor Motel in April 2007 (I couldn't select that on Date of Stay) and I will have to say that if it's late and you're heading up to the Canadian border - staying here in Shelby is your best option. Very clean rooms, free wireless Internet and the area has a number of restaurants and a grocery store.

The design of the motel and the signage is a nice throwback to the 50s and 60s, route 66 and the invention of the motel.

Overpriced, front desk personnel stinks, not quiet, no simple breakfast.

Room was clean but that's about it.

The choices in this area are slim; however, the O'Haire is clean, has refrigerator/microwave and is convenient for walking to the store and restaurants. Stayed only one night. We knew that because of the price, it would be modest. It is comparable to many older Comfort Inns.

Cheap to stay there. No coffee in room (lobby only - dinky cups and tiny coffee pot). Had to sign some sort of waiver to indicate I would pay the kings ransom if I smoked in the room. Loose toilet seat & the fan in bathroom cleared me for take-off (sounded like a jet engine that didn't really suck). Nice to have a microwave and fridge though. Free wifi, but bandwidth comparable to that old 56K modem I used to have. Only the 'fan' setting worked on the Air Conditioner, so no AC during an unseasonably warm day in BFE, Montana. When we arrived, we 'rang the buzzer for service'. There was a woman folding clothes in the room adjacent to the check-in, and I had to get her attention (odd!) to check us in.
