“Horrible staff!!!”

Bimbo at front desk seemed to be very annoyed that my wife and I actually wanted her to get off her boyfriends lap on the couch in the lobby and check us in. She could not have been more rude if she had gone to school and taken a class in how not to treat a customer. Complained to the owner, must have been his daughter or employee with benefits, because his response was pathetic and unprofessional at best. Price was way to high. Very noisy location next to busy freeway. You can drive a few miles and get much better rooms for better prices.

“Overpriced - low quality - stop in Spokane or Missoula”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2010

The Good: access to Interstate 90 is excellent; noise from highway was not bad in our room; room was of good size, very clean and in good repair. Nothing fancy - 12 channels on the TV.
The Bad: Halls smell of smoke, Overpriced at $91. (the same price I paid at Hampton Inn in Spokane), carpet could stand cleaning and hall carpet desperately needed cleaning, A/C was marginal, no bath soap, check-in clerk was less than helpful and provided minimum information, the check-out clerks (at 7:30 a.m.) had put up an "out for a minute" sign and were found smoking in front of the building, breakfast was spartan...one of the worst I've seen at a Super-8.
The Ugly: Photos on the web are much better than what you see. Paint is peeling in large patches in front.

It's OK if you're stuck with no place else to go in the middle of the night. But plan ahead and stop in Spokane, WA or Missoula, MT

“Nope”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 July 2010

I would not stay here again. When I first arrived the desk clerk was cranky. The rates were too high for a Super 8. No refrigerator or microwave as I have had in other less expensive Super 8s. The "breakfast area" was tiny and only 1 person could get in at a time.

I asked about a microwave and the clerk recommended a restaurant across the road. I am a single woman traveling alone. No, didn't go over. She said if I showed my room key I would get a 10% discount. BTW the restaurant had the same name as the last name as the owner of the Super 8. Hmmmm?

The only good thing was that the air was on in the room and it was very cool just the way I like it.

I will stick to Motel 6 in my travels.

“Not Happy”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 January 2010

The room was ok but the carpets were dark brown and filthy with dirt, we had to wear our shoes in the room to not get our socks dirty.
If you stay at this motel and use a credit card be sure to check your balance, we were not billed for 2.5 months after our stay and it almost put me in overdraft, at first I thought it was a fraudulant charge but it wasn't it was just never put through.

“Hard beds and snarly staff”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 October 2009

Stayed at this hotel while moving across country. I couldn't drive the U-haul anymore at night after crossing Lolo pass on the Idaho border so opted to stay here instead of Missoula which was a huge mistake. The room was alright but the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable and the front desk woman was extremely room while checking me in and when I would ask for assistance (like advice on where to eat). If the room was 50 bucks instead of 80 the room would have gotten higher marks but I expect moderate comfort at that price.
