My wife, adult daughter and I enjoyed this immensely. The room was clean and well appointed, overlooking a rocky stream. The pool was very nice for a hotel pool. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was very well done. The dinner at the Old Piney Dell Restaurant located on the grounds was wonderful. It served genuine Minnesota Walleye which was prepared as well as any we had in MN.

Do not stay at this place - even in the event of a family emergency that requires you to cancel your visit, they will still charge you for a night's stay and will do it boastfully simply because it is "policy." The staff and owners are absolutely heartless. I am from Montana and am horridly ashamed of the lack of concern and hospitality these greedy #^%(@ exhibit. Find somewhere else to stay while in Red Lodge.

We were there for one night coming from Beartooth hwy before heading into Cody. The place looks very good on the outside and the lobby area. The rooms were comfortable but they do need to update them. Stayed in rooms 156 & 256. There was a complimentary breakfast in the morning which could have have a little more selection. All they had to drink was coffee, no milk, orange juice. Had to ask for milk. It is good for a one night stay, but would not stay more than that, not for the price they charge.

Room was pretty basic but the grounds were pretty nice. We probably could have appreciated them if it weren't for the hair all over the sheets. We knew no one would be on staff to change them and because we were so cold, tired & didn't want to have to move to another room, we relunctantly just stripped the bed, turned the sheets & pillowcases inside out and had a very unrestful night's sleep. When we checked out in the morning and told the front end staff of the state of the sheets. We got an slight apology & they said they would let the cleaning staff no. I asked for a reduced rate or something & was told that the manager wasn't in. No effort was made to contact us afterward (they did have our mailing address). I sent them an email when we returned home from holidays aprox. 1 1/2 weeks later. I haven't received a response yet. Not impressed at all!
