we were in a non-smoking room, but there is a strange smell in the room, my thought is it used to be a smoking room.

the building is old, the room small.

a little far from the interstate, no highway traffic noise, but it is on a major local roadway thus not better off than hotels close to interstate.

Nice little place for an overnite stay. room was clean, bed comfortable. wireless internet a plus. within easy walking distance of several restaurants, a grocery, and a casino. staff was pleasant, price reasonable.

We stayed 1 night. The check in went fine and we were put on the 2nd floor of the separate building. The room was fairly clean but the hall and room had a strange odor. The entire floor was non-smoking but the 1st floor was smoking so we don't know if it was the cleaner used to try to mask the smoke smell or what. We spent most of the night trying to figure out what the smell was. We could hear the people in the rooms around us and running water in the bathroom next to us. The towels were thin, small and felt like sandpaper. The showerhead was small and the water came out with so much pressure the spray stung. We filled up our water bottles and after we got on the road we found the water was so salty it made us sick. We had water at a couple of other places around town and it was fine so we don't know why that water was so bad. There are other places in town that are about the same price or cheaper that are nicer and don't have that odor.
