My husband and I stayed here for New Years. Unfortunately, Expedia messed up our reservation (again), but Traci at the front desk was wonderful and fixed everything!! She upgraded us to the suite and we had a wonderfully perfect New Years!

The excellent service from Traci at the front desk was a positive. She was genuine and sincere. I was there recently for a weekend of hockey fun! Thanks Traci! I give her 6 stars for taking good care of us!

We recently stayed here for 2 wks. While the physical aspects of the rooms and common areas at the Broadway Inn were only average, I can't say enough positive abt the staff. They were extremely friendly and clearly went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The quality of the staff elevates this place from average to well above average.

This ranks up there with one of the worst hotels we ever stayed at. We chose this hotel since there wasn't much available in town due to a big weekend football game and now I know why there was room available.

The rooms themselves were below average and quite a bit dated and the overall hotel did have a funny smell to it. The beds were comfortable but the blankets on the bed are very thin so heat is a must so be prepared to listen to the fan all night. All three chairs in the room had stains on them so we didn't much want to use those. The door to the bathroom must be closed since you can hear your neighbors conversations as plain as day so obviously they must be able to hear ours too. The shower had good water pressure if you like to take a cold shower. I was not happy about leaving for the day without a shower to which I advised the front desk staff that they had no hot water and their response was "oops yep sorry, the boiler went out" and really didn't seem to care much other than to have us go away. These problems were not just limited to our stay but another couple who were traveling with us and stayed in another room. They also had cold showers to which the towels were so thin they ripped when they used them and the bathroom floor was covered with hair.

Now as far as the overall hotel is concerned it's in somewhat of a decent location as far as shopping is concerned but a car is still needed as it's not within walking distance to anything. The hotel has a bar and a casino attached to it which happened to draw some shady type people in the later hours of the evening whom like to hang around the front door of the hotel lobby and some in the actual halls of the hotel. We felt very uncomfortable returning to the hotel past these people whom were trying to get our attention. We didn't stop to find out what they wanted but instead picked up the pace in our step to get away from them. We thought we were in the clear when there was another couple of scary type persons doing what looked like some sort of secret deal at the bottom of the stairs which we had to go up. These people stared down intensly until we were out of sight. We heard them coming up the stairs behind us and swiftly we got into our rooms. We watched through our peep hole and saw them at our door to which they were sticking toothpicks in the doors card reader. Not creepy at all!!!! That same evening we and the couple we were with who were in another room were woken up to people fighting at 3am in the hall. I must say that the best part of this hotel was driving away from it.
