Goes down in my history is one of the WORST ever!
This is a bad rep for DAYS INN. This place was really filthy and smelled bad. I couldn’t believe that when I awakened in the morning to make my coffee, the coffee pot was full of MOLDY, BURNED coffee from probably years ago! Paint was coming off the door in the bathroom, yuck! I checked trip advisor and it rated 15 out of 40 for Missoula. Should have been 40th! This is the first time TripAdvisor steered me wrong, but I did not read the posts either.
The “free” breakfast was so bad I left without eating or drinking anything. Packaged sweet rolls and cheap coffee was all that was there. They had a fruit bowl but I think they were too cheap to put any fruit in it. Besides, if I ate anything there I would be sick.
I opened one of the drawers in the dresser in the room and it was full of old broken wires and telephones! Can you believe it? The pool was covered even though it was 90 degrees out. I want my money back…they overcharged me $115 for this disgusting dump. I have to challenge them on this one. Who cares about the location when your grossing out & it ruins part of my vacation. I agree with previous posts “I'd say it was worth maybe $35. Even if it was that cheap in the future, I wouldn't stay there again, ever”

Terrible, terrible, terrible. Good rate, good location - bad smell, shabby, dirty carpet, holes in wall, old and cracked bathroom. Would NEVER stay here again. I can not believe this is a Days Inn. Make sure you ask to see a room first. Disgusting.

Nice location walking distance to park and waterfront but thats about it. It is rundown, less than clean, noisy, and expensive. There are much better choices in Missoula for less money.

I stayed there all last week and have to report that this motel is a good bit worse than when I stayed there last time. Apparently the current owners don't place high value on cleanliness. When I arrived, I spent an hour with a bar of soap and washcloth cleaning the doors, door handles, tables, etc in my room. I don't know about early in the week but for sure from Tuesday through Friday, the floor was never vacuumed. The only night someone was in the room above me, water dripped from a metal plate in the bathroom ceiling and I ended up putting the ice bucket out to catch the drips. Gross! The whole time I was there, something nasty was smeared on the walkway outside the rooms down from me and was never cleaned up. One morning the orange juice from the dispenser at breakfast had a distinctively sharp (rotten) bite. Even though this motel is extreemely convenient for downtown, I would recommend staying somewhere else.
