Called several hotels in the area while in the car and decided on the Comfort Inn because it was priced in the middle and the reservation clerk was the most pleasant and informative. Reserved 1 hour before arriving for a standard triple AAA rate of $99. Room was clean and well decorated, linens were suprisingly ok, air conditioning was quiet, no hall noise though the hotel was quite full. Room with 2 queen beds was not spacious and had the sink apart from the shower/toilet, which in itself is fine and the norm, but this case the sink area was oddly placed more in the room so the early risers (husband) disturbed those still sleeping. Breakfast was standard with make your own waffles and other items. My kids couldn't wait to get in the pool because even though smallish, it was clean and warm and we often find cold pools while on the road. Desk staff was efficient, friendly and helpful with tips on good local pizza. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend.
