Stayed here for one night. The hotel and the rooms may seem slightly rundown, but everything was clean and in working order. The staff and service was great, recieved a nice and smiling welcome. Breakfast was also good, especially loved the HI Express cinnamon rolls, they were really great! Miles city is a wonderful little town, lots of nice restaurants and a very charming historic Main Street. Wouldn´t mind visiting the city, and staying at the Holiday Inn, again.

This is one of those HI Express properties to skip. The property is two stories, but does not have an elevator. We frequently use the stairs when staying in a hotel, but an elevator is nice when checking in and out with heavy suitcases and a cooler. When we asked the desk clerk where the elevator was she was rather indignant stating that “the state does not require it and no hotel in Miles City has an elevator." The entrance had two sets of doors which were not automatic, so maneuvering suitcases through the double entrance doors was challenging. We are Platinum Priority Club Members. When checking in, the clerk proudly announced that we were upgraded to a king room. We booked and paid for a king room--there was no upgrade. The room smelled from the odor of those cheap sweet smelling room deodorizers. The breakfast room had only four tables. Two additional tables where placed in the hallway making it difficult to get through to the front desk. The breakfast was not at all what we are accustomed to having at other Holiday Inn Express hotels. There was no pancake machine, probably because there was no room for one in the breakfast room. As for the food – the biscuits were the size of quarters and hard as rocks. The beef gravy was diluted to a runny mess. The orange juice was almost as clear as water and one could only barely taste any citrus flavor. All in all, this is a property to avoid. Holiday Inn Express should do a surprise visit on this location.

We stayed here on a trip from Washington to Minnesota, and liked it so well that we also stayed here on the way back.

Dixie checked us in both times and was such a sweetheart and so caring and attentive both on the phone and in person. Check out staff was friendly and efficient as well.

The rooms are average, we slept well both times we stayed there. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. We did not use the pool but it looked clean.

Breakfast had some nice protein options, 2 kinds of eggs and sausage patties along with the usual hotel breakfast items. Coffee and tea 24/7 which was nice! Definitely will be staying here when we travel in the spring.

We recently stayed in Miles City, got in earlier than expected, front desk let us check in early, very accomodating. Rooms very clean, delicious breakfast, rolls super yummy! Will be back again to stay here.
