The room, sink area and bathroom were a good size but it smelt kind of bad. The bath was filthy with dried on soap scum and loads of hairs. There was a used shower cap hanging on the door and the bed wasn't made properly. Other than this the room was very clean so maybe the room had only been half done. The shower was absolutely ridiculous, I'm 5' 9'' and the shower head wouldn't go any higher than my chin! There was some traffic noise but it was still fairly quiet. Breakfast was ok with a reasonable selection. If you use the safe they automatically charge it to your bill but you can request to have the charge dropped so make sure you ask for this at checkout..

The girl at checkin was very friendly but the man at checkout was extremely rude. He kept us waiting for ages, just to chat to his friends. At check in we asked if we could pay by travelers cheques and were told this was fine but then the man said we couldn't, that we had been misinformed and that what we were told was not his problem!

So overall I would recommend paying a bit more and staying somewhere else!

The rooms were comfortable, clean and large. We ate at the Moose Saloon about a block away which was a fun place complete with peanut shells and sawdust on the floor. The motel had a good, free breakfast with several selections, all for $89. A deal in that part of the country.

I'm used to staying at Marriott hotels. I expected this to be a one * hotel and bascially be really bad based on some of the reviews here. But I was pleasnently surprised how nice the rooms we got were (2 rooms). Both were very clean, Large and no smoke oder. This propertly owns like 3 buildings. some of them (like the building we stayed in) the rooms open up to an indoor hallway which is important to me. Some others in other buildings that they own open up to parking lot (I think this is for people with pets). They also told us since we are staying in that building, we can park in covered parking. The cost of this hotel was $89/night and that included the continental breakfast in the morning.
I would stay here again if I ever end up in this town. see the photos of the room I uploaded.

Enjoyed our stay in the very spacious and quiet room. The indoor oversized hot tub was a welcome feature. Basic breakfast was provided in spacious breakfast room.
