I had a great experience here. The room was great -- clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and I really appreciated that they finished with me before answering the phone. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're in the Kalispell area. Its not in the cutest part of town but its easily accessible and easy to find.

Great hotel, very helpful and friendly reception staff, comfy bed and pillows, clean and quiet room. We initially booked a room with one king bed then discovered my daughter was going to accompany us. I called the hotel, they didn't have any rooms with 2 queens so they gave us an upgrade to a King suite for the same price. Very impressed with the level of service. Fresh, hot out of the oven, cookies in the evening -yum!

We had a group that stayed there for 2 nights on a motorcycle trip. Rooms were very nice, beds were comfortable. Warm cookies the first night we were there...but not the second. We were on the 3rd floor, and they had a lounge area to visit, but it was very hot up there. It's on a busy road, getting into the parking lot was fine, getting out was a little trickier. The first morning we came down for breakfast and everything was empty and no one was around replacing food. The second morning everything was fine.

I seem to be finding myself less pleased with La Quinta properties - it's so hit and miss. Some are down-right dumpy, this one is better than what I've seen on average. The front desk was under-staff when I arrived and I waited about 45 minutes to get a room (they had my room ready and my documentation prepared, it was just they were helping some road crew that walked in looking for a room and not accepting what was offered). Row of Harley's out front had me a little concerned, but no one bothered me. Free parking and on a main thorough-fare. Rooms were clean, but I'm not a fan of the polyester bedspread situation. I'd prefer the Hilton Garden or the Hampton Inn, if available. Otherwise, I might try another hotel next time.
