We had a group that stayed there for 2 nights on a motorcycle trip. Rooms were very nice, beds were comfortable. Warm cookies the first night we were there...but not the second. We were on the 3rd floor, and they had a lounge area to visit, but it was very hot up there. It's on a busy road, getting into the parking lot was fine, getting out was a little trickier. The first morning we came down for breakfast and everything was empty and no one was around replacing food. The second morning everything was fine.

I seem to be finding myself less pleased with La Quinta properties - it's so hit and miss. Some are down-right dumpy, this one is better than what I've seen on average. The front desk was under-staff when I arrived and I waited about 45 minutes to get a room (they had my room ready and my documentation prepared, it was just they were helping some road crew that walked in looking for a room and not accepting what was offered). Row of Harley's out front had me a little concerned, but no one bothered me. Free parking and on a main thorough-fare. Rooms were clean, but I'm not a fan of the polyester bedspread situation. I'd prefer the Hilton Garden or the Hampton Inn, if available. Otherwise, I might try another hotel next time.

We have stayed at many hotels in Kalispell and we have found a new favorite! The staff were awesome! The room decor was average, but it was extremely clean. The pool was open 24/7 which was nice. The fitness room was well equipt and there was free access to computers and internet for guests. The continental breakfast had a huge selection. Also it was quite a quiet hotel. Easy location to find. And best of all, they serve fresh baked cookies every night at the front desk! Honestly, we had no problems with the hotel.

Freshly baked cookies and cheerful, speedy registration upon arrival. A Happy smiling staff is always a plus. Good quality beds, a pool and hot tub make for a pleasant stay. A quiet peaceful location close to major roadways.
